Awesome car buying experience!

I hadn't purchased a car in 10 years and wasn't looking forward to this. It was hot and Johnson Hyundai was packed with potential customers. A kind sales associate found us a place to park and then we met Carl Claiborne. I was looking for three pre-owned 2016 Subaru Legacies that were located on three different Johnson of Cary lots. Carl located two Legacies and we test drove each. Both cars were in excellent condition and Carl answered any questions we had. We decided to buy! Carl guided us thru all the paperwork including financing in a timely manner considering it was a Saturday afternoon. Our experience with Carl and Johnson Subaru of Cary was comfortable and very pleasant. It was well worth the 80+ mile trip. If you are in the market for a car, I highly recommend Carl C...he'll treat you right!

Best car buying experience ever!

Johnson Hyundai was hands down one of the easiest car dealerships I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, and has some of the friendliest staff around. Joe was the icing on the cake though he answered all my questions even after business hours and was able to get me and my fiancé everything we wanted in a new Elantra with the payments that I wanted. In my experience most dealerships have not gone above and beyond when it comes to giving you what you want price wise without you having to walk away from the table a few times. Joe and Johnson Hyundai got it right on the first try, and have definitely earned my business from this point on. It was well worth the hour and a half drive to do business with them. Thank you all so much for everything!

New car purchase

Carl Claiborne was very professional in helping us purchase a car at an affordable price. All went well from the test drive to the final paperwork. Would highly recommend. Willie Tatum was helpful in setting us up with Carl.

Two new leases

Just leased two new Hyundai’s... Our salesman Gustavo was very helpful and knowledgable and made the whole process easy and painless. I never felt pressured. Everyone at Johnson Hyundai were all very professional and courteous. We are both happy with the our leases..

Great Sales Experience

I had a great car-buying experience here. I worked with Carl Claiborne and he was great – very helpful, accommodating, and not pushy. He answered all my questions and didn’t treat me like a child (which I’ve felt some male sales people do when working with women). He worked around my schedule and heard me out when it came to my financing desires. K.C. in finance did the whole added warranty/extras spiel that dealerships do, but he was not pushy and listened to what I had in mind. Overall I enjoyed working with the staff here. Everyone was very responsive, friendly, and professional.

They broke our car while evaluating it for trade!!

These people broke one of the headrests on our car while our trade was being evaluated. We ended up not being able to do a deal and we’re fine with that. We got in our car to leave and the headrest was broken. Completely broken, no movement non functioning. It was not broken when we got out of our car when we arrived at the dealership. Two members of their staff were in our car while it was there, one moved it to a different location (Sales Rep Ryan Lambert) another appraised it (Sales Manager Johnny Barbaro). We brought it to their attention and they looked at us as though we were crazy. They kept saying no one even sat in that seat. You wouldn’t have to have been sitting in the seat to mess it up. Anyone with a Traverse can probably surmise how this happened. Someone went to place there hand on the back of the passenger seat to back up the car, the headrest slid forward. They didn’t know about the button on the right side of the headrest so they tried to force it back into place and broke it. I think the Sales Manager knew the Sales Rep had broken the headrest but of course they stuck together. When I asked who I was supposed to talk to since they weren’t interested in doing the right thing, I asked if that was Mr. Johnson, the Sales Manager with an attitude replies” Well, we’re a corporation so you can talk to whoever you want to”. We did that. We were able to leave a message with Mr Johnson’s assistant and we will be contacting the Johnson’s corporate office in Duluth Ga on Monday as well. Maybe even reach out to Channel 9 troubleshooter Diane Wilson? We’re not done with this issue yet. Side note: This is the second time we have worked with this dealership, the first time, even though they pissed us off, we still ended up buying a car from them. We probably would have bought from them again this November-December when the demand for the car we want isn’t as high and on preorder status. Not snowball’s chance in xxxx now. Sport Durtz, Medlin, Lee, and Bob King Hyundai dealerships......looking at you, you’ll be hearing from us soon.

Great service for repair under warranty

I had a great experience with Johnson Hyundai of Cary. I was not a client before and I needed some repair that is included with my car warranty. The staff was friendly and I was in and out in no time with my car fixed. Highly recommend!

No pressure sales experience

Our Sales Consultant Carl Claiborne was really great. No pressure just straightforward facts and options. We decided on an Accent and he presented our financing choices clearly and professionally. In the end we left with our new car and the whole experience took less time then our previous car purchase experiences. Great job Carl, Michael and Johnson Hyundai.
