Horrible Experience

This is a WARNING to all buyers! Here is a run down of my experience at Tuttle. First of all i took my 16 year old daughter to purchase her first vehicle. This was supposed to be a memorable moment instead it has been nothing but a nightmare. I got to the Dealership and met Jorge the sales rep which came across so polite and very genuine. I end up purchasing a "Preowned Certified Vehicle" which was a 2014 Black Jeep Wrangler with a soft top at the time i was purchasing it they made promises after promises. Once the paperwork was complete no one went over the vehicle with my daughter. The handed the vehicle over to my daughter dirty and then said they will go over how to remove the top tomorrow. We drove the vehicle home and heard rattling noises, the brakes were acting up and each turn my daughter made we heard a loud noise. We came in the next day the salesperson wasn't there he was off, i asked if someone can take a look at the vehicle and take it for a drive to check about the noise, Service department asked me to leave it and they will check it out and give me a call. 4 days pass by and i called the dealership to find out the status of my vehicle, they advised nothing was wrong with the vehicle and it was ready to be picked up. I picked up my vehicle and when i received my invoice no where did it state that they inspected the brakes or the loud noise. I took the vehicle home and of course the brakes were acting up and the noise still there. I called again and emailed my sales person to advise him that i need the service department to take a look at the vehicle. I was asked to bring the vehicle back in and no one was available to help me. I waited 30 minutes before anyone can help and again asked if they can go for a test drive so that i can explain what noise and the brake issue. They asked me to leave my vehicle again and i did, this time 5 days and no response so i call in to check the status of my vehicle and was advised that the Brake Booster was replaced and they now resolved the issue. I am extremely disappointed that a dealership will put a vehicle on the lot for sale that is Certified Preowned and have the issues i had. Along with a broken brake light to top it off. Not only that the soft top is defective and had velcro on the top to secure the top from the sides. I pointed that out to the General Manager which said that he wished he can help me but he cannot because of the sales tax of the vehicle which was a lie that i found out when i contacted the Board of Equalization. His resolution was that the brake issue was fixed and they can peel it off the velcro from the soft top. WOW!! what wonderful service. This is unacceptable! not only did i purchase a vehicle and the very next day have issues i had my vehicle sitting in the service department for a total of 10 days and only owned the vehicle for 3 weeks. We didn't get to drive the vehicle without an issue. The manager didn't care to work with me to make things better instead he continued to make excuses. When i called the service department they hung up on me. I spoke again to the GM he advised me to take my jeep somewhere else to get it checked out. How would a mother feel safe purchasing a vehicle with brake issues and handing it over to her daughter? I have never in my life experienced this type of service and have ever had an issue purchasing a vehicle. I will be contacting the BBB and Department of DMV Investigation to report that a CPO was sold to me with Brake problems along with the Jeep Corporation. This is not how a dealership should operate nor treat their customers. I went to Tuttle Click to purchase a vehicle for my daughter and it resulted into a nightmare. I hope that everyone that reads my review will take my advise to save themselves from this type of situation. You cannot TRUST this company nor the people that work there. I will contact consumer affairs along with Jeep Corporate office to advise them on the service, the vehicle and file my complaints.

Never returned calls or text messages

They had my car for three days and only returned my calls twice in three days without explaining what was wrong with it. Returned it still broken. Took it to a different mechanic who found the problem in less than an hour.

Do not go to this dealer

This dealer handled our buy back of a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and while that process was smooth thanks to the fleet department, the purchase of our new 2015 Grand Cherokee was not. The dealer advertised our special order vehicle for sale at much lower than the sticker price. So I contacted the dealer and asked why and that we would now purchase the vehicle at this price. All seemed well and on December 9, 2015 I went in and confirmed the details of the pricing and financing. All was going great, right price, financing and all. On Saturday December 10, 2015 when my wife and I arrived to sign over our buy back and pick up the new car it all fell apart. The sales manager would not discuss the details of the new vehicle but rather pushed that my buy back be signed over first. After being pushed aside and told to transfer my stuff from the old to the new, we finally signed over the buy back. This was 2 hours after arriving for something I was told the night before would take 1 hour. This is when it really got bad. Once we had no more vehicle, we were told that the deal we discussed the day before was out the door and that the dealer had advertised the car incorrectly. The ad was there the morning we drove to the dealer but was removed by the time we started talking numbers. Then another hit, the financing charges had gone up to 5% for a person with 800+ credit (no lie). So now the price and financing are higher than what was discussed. At this point we wanted to leave, but couldn't because our car now belonged to the dealer. No one could come pick us up and the dealer would not provide transport. To further aggravate things, when we asked the sales manager if he could find a different bank, the response was, "you go find a bank on your own and comeback." Being stuck in this situation now, we tried to get a bank but had no luck on a Saturday morning. Now 4 hours later and filled with the most frustration I have had since being in combat, and my wife much the same, we had to agree and buy the car at a price higher than advertised, and discussed the week prior to our arrival. We traveled over an hour to this dealer for this to happen to us. BE WARNED, THIS DEALER IS NOT A GOOD DEALER. We called the general manager and left messages for a month before finally making contact with him, and to this day (two weeks after a promised call back) we still have no call back. One more thing, the new vehicle also came the a due bill, or promise to apply something to my car. In this case it was the roof rails from my old car to my new car, two months later and they still have not done this, and now Chrysler has possession of the old vehicle and I will never have my promised roof rails. I will stop here on this review, but just know that the service department also lied and failed to perform repairs on my vehicle the week after we bought it. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE OR USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

Terrible!! Bait and Switch!! No Integrity!!

Very dishonest organization and staff, find a different dealership to do business with in a neighboring city. I found the dealership via an online search and was interested in purchasing a new Chrysler 300C, they had one that fit my taste. I sent an online inquiry for the price of the vehicle and for a trade in evaluation, Massoud the Internet Manager emailed me back and gave me the price of the 300C and asked questions about my trade. He then provided me a complete breakdown of the transaction (Trade, Price of Vehicle, Fees, etc.), I agreed in principle to the overall price and provided my credit application. He came back with 2 financing terms, I let him know I would be in the next morning to drive the vehicle and sign off on the deal, so we set an appointment. I arrived, drove the vehicle and asked to move forward, we sat in Massoud’s office awaiting finance to complete the paperwork. After an hour I asked what was taking so long, according to Massoud they calculated something wrong and needed to call Chrysler finance to adjust the LTV, after another 2 hours went by I asked again what was going on. At that point Massoud’s manager Lionel came in to tell me that the calculation error was his and they would need to change the term to make the deal work, I stated that I would be okay with it as long as the rate came down. I let them both know I had another appointment and asked for them to work on the rate and give me a call, didn’t hear anything the rest of the day. Called the next day and was told what they could do, I wasn’t thrilled as the payment was different than what was quoted, so I decided to think about it. Called Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and could not receive a call back from Lionel or Massoud. Massoud called me back on Thursday and stated he took a couple days off; I let him know I was ready to move forward and would like to pick up the vehicle on Friday. He emailed me 30 minutes later and stated the price of the vehicle was going up by over $5K and this was the best they could do. I immediately called Massoud back to inquire why, he stated that over the past 3 days somehow my trade value decreased by that amount. Everything about interacting with this place is absolutely disgusting, they will do whatever than can to get you in the door (BAIT) and then change the price/structure of the deal (SWITCH). BBB and local regulators have been contacted, the bad thing for them is that the entire conversation via email is documented with all the lies and changes. I encourage you to spend your time and money working with an ethical organization that hires individuals with integrity!!

Beware of these guys they will lie and tell you anything!!

On 9/22/15 I purchased a New 2015 Jeep from Tuttle-Click Irvine Chrysler Jeep Dodge. During the purchase negotiations and after discussing financing options with the fleet Manager Hugh Diamond we decided on a price and that we would lease the vehicle. We made it clear to Mr. Diamond that we may want to pay the vehicle off early and were assured there would be no issues. Of course it was all a lie something you would expect from a used car salesman I guess but not from a fleet manager of a large automotive group. Here are the issues that were promised or lied about that everyone who is thinking of buying a vehicle from any Tuttle Click dealership should be aware of. 1. I was told that I would be skipping my first payment and would not have a payment for 60 days. This was just a sale tool to get me to sign and was a complete lie. One week later I received my first payment statement from the finance company and it is due 10/22/15 30 days exactly after the date of purchase. 2. I made it clear to both Hugh and the finance manager that I may pay this off early and was assured that would not be an issue. I am now being told by Ally Bank that there are early payment penalties. Also I am being told on top of the penalties the only option is to pay all the lease and residual up front to pay off this vehicle? So instead of paying $40,500 the agreed upon price and then putting $7800.00 down leaving a balance of $32,700 plus tax and fees? My payoff would be $43,000 that’s $2,500 more than the negotiated price and I would lose all of my down payment? It is just simple sales fraud and lies and all buyers should beware of these guys. 3. Just to add insult to injury I was reviewing my sales contract trying to find where it discloses a pre-payment penalty or any of these lies and there in the fine print was a $595 dollar junk fee that was never discussed, agreed, or any part of the price negotiation? Even Trucar.com and all the other auto sites tell you this is a scam and junk fee?

Nice Dealership, Excellent Sales Service

Sasha Milani is by far, the best sales consultant I have ever worked with. I have bought 15+ cars in my life from various brands (mostly German). He is top notch, friendly, honest, and is always available. I simply cannot recommend him enough!!! I have bought two Grand Cherokee Overlands from him, both of which have been great cars, zero issues. I can't speak (yet) as to the service department, but Sasha is absolutely awesome, I recommend you ask for him.

It's our 14th vehicle within our family over the years from Tuttle Click - our 4th within the past 12 month! We are definitely very satisfied and loyal return customers! It was a great pleasure all around from A-Z, to purchase another new vehicle.
