I Fred Moreira have purchased a cargo van from C.W. Clarke when I purchased the van I told the salesman I am from California and have a California Driver's license and he told me it was not a problem and they would be able to register the car. At this time I gave a $3000 down payment and financed the rest of the vehicle. They gave me a 1 month temporary plate and I was told once the plate expired my California plates would arrive. Once my plate expired they told me that they can’t register the car because of my drivers license is from California, at this time they said they would try to figure it out again the new car I purchased stayed in my driveway parked for 2 months with no plates, after 3 months they called and told me to come pick up the plates, once I arrived at the dealership they took back my van and were EXTREMELY RUDE to saying they cant sell me the van. My son was with me and was scared at the disrespect I received. At this time the bank paid me back for the 3 months I had paid for the car. The dealership has since to return my $3000 down payment. I have several messages on my phone saying they will return the money, but never due and they always have an excuse, saying the person that signs the check is out of the office and later had surgery! This has now been over 4 months ! I will now be taking even further action if I don't get my money returned. I DO NOT recommend anyone going to this dealership!

Owber Jimmy Jim Jim offered to fight me
On a Monday, I made an appointment to see a van for $4912 on a Wednesday. I specifically made it a point to mention that I was coming from a long distance did not want my time wasted and to let me know ASAP if there were going to be any issues. I also mentioned I would be showing up with cash and a possible trade-in. I showed up first thing on Wednesday, with $5000 cash and the possible trade -in, to find out Art D and the Owner Jimmy Jim Jim (right there knowing the owner goes by 3 first names and all the same should have been the first clue I was going to be dealing with ignorant morons) did not have the van because it was in the shop. Once again, things I needed to know before driving 90 minutes and clearing my entire days schedule to purchase a van. When I told Art D that was a xxxxxxx move, because I emailed 2 days ago that I was coming to look at vehicle and to let me know of any issues before I got there, he took exception and told me I could come back tomorrow as if I would want to do this all over again and waste more time. I then suggested I wanted to talk to the owner Jimmy Jim Jim who was even more ignorant and stupid than Art D. I told Jimmy Jim Jim that they had 2 days to tell me there as an issue and that it was kind of false advertising to email me twice before about the vehicle and then to not actually have it. Jimmy Jim Jim told me how reputable and busy they were. I looked around and saw Art D sitting at his desk, another dealer on the phone, and not another soul. When Jimmy Jim Jim saw me look around he asked what I was looking for and did not like it when I told him "the non existent customers that he told me he had just like the vehicle I came to see". We then went out side where Jimmy Jim Jim offered to fight me. As much as punching Jimmy Jim Jim would have been satisfying, I really could not afford the assault charges. I have never been to a dealership where the owner actually offers to fight you in front of his dealership. I have to admit it is a bold strategy to try to sell cars that you don't have to customers with cash in hand and then offer to fight them in the front of the dealership. Also, the NJ Governor, Jim Murphy, would also be interested to know that I was the only one wearing a mask during a mask mandate in the middle of a global pandemic. Jimmy Jim Jim's spittle coming out of his mouth as he spewed lies was not appreciated.
