Absolutely the worst online shopping experience ever.
Absolutely the worst online shopping experience ever. Staff is more concerned with making sure you are qualified instead of actually making sure that you can get the vehicle that you want. I’ve never shopped online before and probably never will again. Poor communication (until they know your qualified) If I was standing in the showroom I’d probably would have had priority service (like the person that bought the car that I was looking at) No hold offered. Waited till the end of the day to run credit app then made one call and left for the day. By time the morning come vehicle was sold. No offer on VM to be able to call dealership back to finish paperwork until that sales person came back the next morning. Don’t let them fool you. Online shopping is easy but you don’t get priority.

Buyer be aware of extra fees.
Buyer be aware of extra fees. I bought a car at Automaxx yesterday. An additional 895.00 was added in finance for Lojack. I offered an extremely fair price, however, sales did not mention the extra fees. I questioned Finance several times on this fee and they indicated it was mandatory. I did call today and Nick Galloway did call me back. His response was to let everyone know I did receive a fair price. However, a fair price does NOT include additional 895 of unnecessary fees.

I had the best experience I have ever had with Molly.
I had the best experience I have ever had with Molly. I’ve been buying cars for over 20 years and she was by far the best sales person I have ever been around. Automaxx is definitely lucky to have her working with them.

Please reconsider if you are considering buying a car through AutoMaxx of the Carolinas online process. My recent experience with this dealer is probably the worst I have ever had buying a car. If you have ever purchased from a used car dealer, you know that's saying a lot. You will experience the run-around, multiple changes in the pricing as you go along, $1385 in dealer fees (regardless of the vehicle), and so on it goes. I won't give you a whole spiel that's to long read, just please reconsider your decision. There are a lot of decent car dealers out there; Automaxx is not one of them.

Absolutely terrible experience.
Absolutely terrible experience. A little over two weeks ago, I purchased a Ram 1500. Four days ago, on my way to work, I completely lost power with multiple lights on the dash, making the truck undrivable. In limp mode, I managed to get the truck to the dealership. It has now been four days, and despite being under their 3,000-mile warranty, they haven't even begun to look at the issue. The dealership's business practices are very poor, especially with a new purchase. They did not offer a loaner or rental, so I am having to pay for a rental out of pocket while they still haven't even started on my truck. I would never recommend purchasing from them because if you have an issue, good luck getting in contact with anyone after multiple phone calls. I have left voicemails and contacted the service department about a loaner without any success.

I purchased a car June 2024, paid cash.
I purchased a car June 2024, paid cash. The dealer recorded a lien in error on the title. I called and spoke with Ashley at dealership who was very rude and told me to fix the problem myself. I never received the title because a bank that I have no account or relationship with now has a lien listed on my title AND the title. I requested the phone number of this bank and Ashley told me to google it. I never expected such rude and discourteous treatment when I just want a clean title to my car. I understand that people make mistakes, but conducting oneself in a professional manner and correcting your mistakes is all that any customer would want to experience. One employee (Ashley) made my buying experience a truly negative one. Justin was the best salesperson to work with you could ever experience. I would have never purchased a car from them knowing I would not receive a title.

Was told a car was on the lot before I drove 20 min to
Was told a car was on the lot before I drove 20 min to the dealership. Got to the dealership and looked for the car. Even got a text from a sales manager asking me if I had any questions about the car and my appointment. Don’t see the car. Go inside and wait a couple minutes to be greeted. Tell the salesman I have an appointment and the car I’m looking for. Leaves me at a McDonald’s style table for 10 minutes and when he comes back tells me the car sold an hour ago. That happens but still sucks but not shady. Well I get my wife to call the dealership 4 hours later. She asks for the same car I was told was sold. They say they have the car and they can see it in the lot. She goes in and they do the same thing to her. They put up fake cars to get you in the door. That is borderline frauding customers and showing the disrespect they will treat you with. They do not care about you. Do not go here. From reading the reviews about the LoJack I am glad they didn’t have the car on the lot.
