2025 Kia K5 Gt Line AWD w/ 2.

2025 Kia K5 Gt Line AWD w/ 2.5L 4 Cylinder I came to the dealership to purchase my vehicle on 7/19/24 my salesman was John Varnes and his service and experience with him were great no complaints in that department other than the fact I was told I would get loaners whenever I brought the vehicle in for service (good info for later in the review) Also during the process of purchasing my car all the paperwork said my vehicle had 337 miles on it when it actually had around 770 i asked about it and they said they would look into it (they never did and i honestly forgot about it and that is why i went through with purchasing it I buy the vehicle and leave with it on 7/20/24 at around 4:30 pm I come back per the dealer request on 7/24/24 so they can put on the “value protection package” that i also declined when negotiating loan terms for the vehicle but they snuck it in and I signed it and didn't think twice about it (my mistake that cost me $1,195) and on the service record for this service the mileage on it says 338 in and 338 out which is still strange because the actual mileage at the time was around the high 700s (just weird to me and thought i should document it) anyways i get the car back the same day a few hours later (after receiving a loaner that i came in alone to pick up mind you I am 18 years old and was told i can get the loaner when i purchased the car so no problems during this first time i received a loaner I ran some errands around madison with it and when i was called to pickup the car i brought it right back and took my kia k5 back and went on with my new car fast forward to 8/07/24 with 2,400 miles on the car i get an oil light on my dashboard meaning “low oil level” so i go to pop the hood like anybody would and the hood latch is broken so i bring the whole car to the dealership tell them what is going on and they take the car in and they offer me a loaner I give them my id like normal but this time i am dealing with Daniel Bowser (great guy and absolutely 0 complaints with him) he asks me if I am 21? I say “no, why?” he replies with something like “you have to be 21 to receive a loaner do you have a parent or somebody we can give the loaner to?” i explain to Daniel that when i purchased the vehicle i was told i could get loaners and the sales people knew how old i was (obviously) I had also purchased the vehicle alone as an 18-year-old and I am the only name on the financing and everything he tells me I need to be 21 for a loaner I end up getting my father to help me receive the loaner car I get the loaner and have it for multiple days I bring the loaner back and receive my k5 back on 8/10/24 1 month later on 9/20/24 i get the light again and bring it to the dealership and the vehicle is at 6,452 miles this time I get the loaner with my father again and bring it back and get my car back on 9/21/24 and now the most recent time i brought it in was 10/09/24 for the the same problem they get it in to service and end up waiting on parts and updating me every now and then when i call them the car is in the shop for 14 days and I finally go to get it back 10/24/24 when they call me telling me it is ready I go in to recieve my keys and all the service records and paperwork while i am waiting for daniel to come back the service manager Christy Ripp comes up to me and asks if i have a loaner I say yes and she takes the key out of my hand and walks away (never seen her before and never heard from her after she took me key) a service guy finishes up with me and i requested I speak with Daniel Bowser (Like normal) and he updates me on the status of my vehicle and what they have been doing to it on his way to take me to my car he lets me know that this “Service Manager” Woman Christie Ripp told him that i can not have any more loaners and that i can not get another one from them ( i have always brought the vehicles back with full tanks and even the most recent one they gave to me with 70% fuel and a dirty interior I returne

Last fall they told me my tires needed to be replaced. I took my car to two other tire places...not a thing wrong with my tires. I still have them on a year later. I will need to replace before winter. So, either the service department doesn't know their job or they are trying to sell tires.

Metro Kia of Madison service department, and Dan Bowser,

Metro Kia of Madison service department, and Dan Bowser, did a good job in getting my Sorento in soon and scheduling needed service—a leaking oil pressure switch under warranty. We also decided to perform other engine services proactively at reduced rates in view of the engine being partially disassembled which reduced labor coasts. Was also furnished a new Niro loan vehicle during the one week repair which I appreciated. So far so good with the repair. Not leaking oil fortunately. Going forward we may further test and invoke the famed 100K-200K warranty from Metro Kia if warranted, as miles accumulate and I plan to keep and maintain my ,17 Sorento which has been a fine, dependable vehicle. This may well determine whether I purchase another Kia from Metro Kia in future ! Thanks to the entire crew at Metro Kia, especially the service technician and Dan Bowser. Please pass my compliments on to them .

Justin Sagissor worked with me and my sister on getting a car. He was knowledgeable, no pressure salesman. He made the experience fun fairly fast, and enjoyable. He has emailed several times to follow up and see how I liked the vehicle. He is amazing as is my sportage. I want to work with him when I am ready to get another one. He is a good man to work with.

Consumer response

My response is above.

Aiden was wonderful.

Aiden was wonderful. I already knew what car I wanted and did most of the transaction over the phone. He got the car and I drove an hour to get it. I was never pressured for add one. I also got what i wanted for my car. No back and forth haggling!
