Please dont go here...

If I could give 0 stars... I would. When you picture the stereotypical car salesmen? this place is what you?re imagining. These Employees were very rude and unprofessional. Employees were swearing left and right, regardless if customers were in there. No professionalism what so ever. In fact, they were so unprofessional, that when my husband put his hand out for a farewell shake, the salesmen folded his arms to his chest. The salesmen reacted this way simply because my husband said that he wasn?t interested in the vehicles they had to offer. Trust me when I say that this example is only the tip of the iceberg as to what we experienced the 15 minutes we were in this place.

I love my used 2012 Dodge Caliber

I am a single mother who was searching for a newer car with less miles then what I currently had for a great price. I actually fell upon this dealership by taking a wrong turn while trying to go to an appointment. It took me 2 days and over 13 hours of asking questions test driving and giving myself time to think about if the car I was going to purchase was the perfect match for me! They were all very patient with all my questions and concerns. They had great customer service and I felt like they truly were trying to give me the best deal and options for my money. AJ in financing was completely helpful and kind. He addressed all my questions and passed with flying colors! Bobby,Trevor and David were the men whom helped me pick out a car that fit my needs best and took care of all my worries. They even were willing to help add extra things to the contract to help me feel secure in my choice! I think they did a wonderful job and I know I'm not the easiest person to try and sell to! The only thing I would recommend before going into this dealership would be search online to view the cars they have and the pricing. Because sometimes the prices that are for sale online are cheaper and not updating in the companies personal systems right away. Besides that I was very happy!

Went to buy a used car, everyone was nice, but then you get passed off from the sales man to "the manager" they tried to sell us a car that was priced double the blue book value. When we declined we where told the car was ours and there was no way to get out if it. The night before we where told we needed to come back with a check, left with no paper work and no car. Yet the next morning when we said we did not want to complete the deal that it was our car now. They only care about getting their money and not what would be beat for the customer. We where told to " call whoever you want, that car is yours and we have NO obligation to you." That about sums it up for this dealership, they just want your money.

Dishonest, avoid at all costs.

All I can say is avoid this place at all costs. I was looking at a used vehicle, I talked to them on Monday and was assured that the car would go through their rigorous 160 point inspection and that anything that was found would be fixed. I came back 2 days later and the price that I was quoted on Monday had jumped by $7,000. When I asked about the earlier price I was informed that the sales Manager that quoted me that price wasn't there that day. I walked out and went to Ken Garff, they purchased the vehicle from Karl Malone Used Car Outlet and then sold it to me, for a cheaper price than Karl Malone was going to sell it to me for. After they purchased the vehicle they went through it and performed their own 150 point inspection, it failed miserably. They new dealer had to put $2,000 into the vehicle to get it to pass inspection, the brakes were at 5% and there were several leaks. Over a week later I still see that the vehicle sitting in my garage is listed for sale at Karl Malone. I called them and asked them to tell me about it, the salesman assured me they still had it for sale and that it had been through their inspection process and would pass state inspection. They are the epitome of the negative connotation of the term Used Car Salesman. Buyer beware.

Yikes!

They are happy to find you a car . But their shop and detail job was a joke! They promised me my car over night and it took me 4 days to finally get it. Only to find that only half the car had been detailed and it was still full of dog hair from the previous owner. They also stole the extra floor mats that were In the trunk when I bought it and told me I was a liar for saying that they were in there. They also promised they would fix the rock chips in the windshield and they didn't even touch them, so I had to take it back in. This is not a hassle free shop by any means, I felt like I had to baby sit them the while time.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

My husband and I had decided to purchase a vehicle and we looked online and found Karl Malone Used Car Outlet in Sandy. After the easy online process we drove to Sandy. We met with Cooper and from that moment we had and excellent customer service/ car buying experience. He was friendly, knowledgable, and had a great sense of humor. We did buy the vehicle that we liked at online. Every employee that we met there knows how to treat their customers. There is not one bad thing I can say.

Great Experience, Will Go Back Again

My son and I went to Karl Malone Used Car Outlet looking for a first car for my son. The staff was great! They answered our questions and honestly showed us our options. We had a budget and I never felt pressured to spend more than we had. We were able to test drive many different cars in an attempt to find what we were looking for. When we decided on a car the staff stayed late to help us with the paperwork. The manager even gave me a free car wash for my personal car that had been covered with pollen while on vacation prior to visiting the outlet. I will go back to Karl Malone when we need another car.

Highly recommended for honesty and integrity.

I went in to the dealership and worked with Ben and Dave. I found Dave to be more than fair and very helpful. He kept his word and went out of his way to make sure we had a positive experience buying a car. I have been to other dealerships in the area and was impressed with his integrity and the honesty I received. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking for a car.

The reason why I went in because I won an MP3 player but also I was interested in looking at some cars. Rick Green was my sales person he is from out of state. they had brought a team in for the big sale that was going on. I looked at some cars. he knows his stuff, and very friendly. When i walked on to the lot I felt very good about the place and the people that worked there. The way they presented them selves, and the way they treated others, and customers is out standing. I wasn't pressured at all to buy. I made an appointment for the next day for my husband and I to look at the ones that I was interested in. He made us feel that we are important and what we said and wanted in a car mattered to him. He made the process to easy. We had a price limit on how much we could afford each month. We did a trade in and we where upside down in that car. They worked every thing out. I don't know how they did it but they did. We walked out with the new car (used) with the payment we wanted. I never have walked out of a dealership happy and super excited for my new car. The manager That helped us sign the papers and dotted the I's and crossed the T's was amazing. Fast and efficient they know what they are doing. They do it well, and they will do every thing they can to make what you want to happen. I have found a car that I love. and I will return to them for the next vehicle. The word is out you got to buy from Karl Malone. They are the best.

Patient and Straight Forward

I have been looking for a used Buick with the new body style ever since I sold my old car at the beginning of May. I looked all over for a quality used car; most of the dealerships even though I said I had no interest in even looking at a new car, showed me a new car. My husband, who was deployed at the time, sent me this car he saw on the internet and it was at Karl Malone Used Cars so I went and checked it out. I made an appointment to go look at the car, Dave & Neli (sorry for the spelling!) had this car pulled up and ready for me to take the car for a spin. In talking with Neli about the pros and cons of the car I never felt pressure from him, or any of the other associates to look at a newer car or one that was out of my price range. At the end of the test drive, I wanted to take it to my mechanic and have things checked out, even though there was the carfax and the dealerships provides an inspection themselves, they did not hesitate to let me take it for an extended test drive for the rest of the day. I took the car back later that afternoon, Neli was busy with another client so I left the keys with AJ, he offered me a deal but I had no intention of buying the car that day, my Husband was due back from deployment on Tuesday so I decided to wait. I knew I was taking the risk of the car not being there. Maybe an hour after I left, Neli had text me asking me how things went with AJ and what he could do to help. I know some people may not like to be texted but I loved it! I thought it was an awesome way to get this deal done! Neli was super patient with me and my wheeling and dealing to say the least! I had a couple of follow-up phone calls between Saturday and Wednesday. Every contact I had with Karl Malone Used Cars was pleasant and all were concerned about the experience I was having in dealing with them. Wednesday rolled around and Dave gave me a call that afternoon to make sure everything was going okay. I was planning on taking my Husband in that afternoon to test drive the car, but I didn?t want to waste their time or mine if the price was not right and we had a few questions on the numbers from the quote I got from AJ. Dave was super patient and explained over the phone what things were, we settled on a number and he was prepared when I brought my husband in to go over every detail of fees. We bought the car that night; once we decided to jump we were out the door with my barely used Buick in under an hour! I want to thank Dave & Neli for their diligent work! Side note: Neli is from Michigan, came here and played football for the Utes during the whirlwind glory years! I am a HUGE Ute fan so it was pretty awesome to take a test drive and do business with a former Utah Football player. Go Utes!
