Excellent Customer Service

I purchased a QX 80 at the LADA Car show at Cajunfield. Bill Jones was very knowledgeable, personable and accommodating. My experience purchasing this vehicle was an absolute pleasure. Bill took the time to chat with me and get to know me as a customer. Before leaving with my new car, he sat with me and showed me all of the features and helped me learn the vehicle. He also connected me with a service advisor the next morning to answer questions I had. I would definitely recommend him as a sales associate if you are in the market!

New QX60 Purchase from Infiniti of Lafayette

We visited Infiniti of Lafayette about two years ago, as we were then interested in a QX60. We met with Mr. Bill Jones who was very professional and knowledgeable about the car we were interested in. He allowed us to test drive one and he answered all our questions. We told him then to give us about two years and we'd be back. We came back when we were ready to make a move on a CPO QX60, however, during a barrage of questions to Bill, and the answers he provided, we decided to buy a new 2017 model, as that seemed of the most value to us. Bill had some support there, I'm sorry we can't remember all those names, but he was fantastic!! I would encourage anyone interested in an Infiniti Vehicle to go see Bill Jones! Thanks Bill!!!

Infiniti Q70 Brake Issues

I brought my 2015 Q70 in for the second time in less than 3500 miles (car has 18k miles total) due to a shudder in the front end when braking. Once again the Infiniti of Lafayette service advisor is said the front rotors had to be re-surfaced and that Infiniti won't pay for more than one turning. He charged me $250 for a vehicle still under factory warranty and accused us (wife's car) of riding the brakes and/or getting them too hot. Couldn't be further from the truth! I have owned over 20 foreign and domestic new and used cars (including Infiniti and Nissan) in the last 37 years and have never had these type brake issues with such a low mileage car. This includes several sports cars that I have driven aggressively without issue. Between the steering pulling to one side or the other at random and the brake problems, I have serious safety concerns and we are driving it minimally at this point. What really upsets my wife and I is the dealership's (Service Manger) lack of willingness to assist in finding the root cause as well as pursuing reimbursement to us for the obvious flaw in the Q70 brakes. It took calling the Infiniti 800 number to get any kind of positive results. If I ever do buy another Infiniti, you can believe it won't be from Infiniti of Lafayette, nor will this car go back there for service. Now I understand why J.D. Powers ranked Infiniti 29 of 31 car brands in reliability for 2017. Very disappointing!

The vehicle is question was reviewed under warranty and was repaired. It later returned with hot spots which created issues with the brakes. This 2nd review of the brakes showed that hard braking had overheated the rotors, metallic rotors and metallic pads create heat. Over application or short stopping can cause this condition. The reliability and overall customer satisfaction of INFINITI is one of the highest in the industry. INFINITI as a gesture of good faith offered you a maintenance card to assist in future automotive needs. As a service center for INFINITI, we welcome to assist you in any way in the future.

This is about finding the root cause of the Q70 brake issue and not falsely blaming the owner. How is it that there were no problems the first 12000 miles? Did we all of the sudden change our driving habits?! Apparently, this service dept. doesn't have a clue what to look for. The car is still pulling (at random) in both directions when applying the brakes - very unsafe! After talking to a business associate with a '15 Q70L, I know I am not the only one with these problems. By the way, we never received a "Maintenance card" and I will let the authority on dependability speak for itself.
