I visited Academy Ford in Laurel, Maryland, for warranty

I visited Academy Ford in Laurel, Maryland, for warranty work on my vehicle. specifically to address a light. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. It took seven hours for the service team to contact me with an update, leaving me stranded as the shuttle service had ended by then. The staff tried to upsell me on windshield wipers, a radiator flush, and a brake fluid flush, despite me having completed these services within the last two weeks. They failed to address the "check charging system now" light that I brought up when dripping the car off. Additionally, one of my wrenches was taken and not returned until I called about it twice. The facility was decent, but the lack of communication, upselling, and failure to resolve the charging issue made this a frustrating experience. I’d hesitate to return because I am not sure that I can trust them.

Had my vehicle serviced for warranty repairs.

Had my vehicle serviced for warranty repairs. There were some delays but not really the Service Department's fault, the overall service was professional, and repairs have been successful. My service rep Alvin Powell was professional and on top of it at all times, kept me informed and left me with the sense trust and confidence that he was "in my corner" at all times with my warranty provider.

A mobile unit from Academy Ford came to my home to install a new battery as per Ford recall guidance. The scheduling was easy over the phone, and the two man team came on time. Both were friendly and professional. From beginning to end, the whole issue could not have been resolved more effectively and efficiently.
