In March 2016, I purchased a Kia Soul from DCH Kia of Temecula for my father. This was his first new car, and he was immensely proud of it. As seniors, my parents found the vehicle easy to enter and exit, making it the perfect choice for them. My dad drove this car everywhere, always praising its quality. All maintenance was performed at DCH Kia in Temecula, and when my parents moved to Orange County, they continued to follow the recommended service schedule. Several recalls were promptly addressed by the dealership. I chose this car with the assurance provided by Kia's 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. In early May 2024, the car passed its smog check with flying colors, having only 58,000 miles on the odometer. However, in June 2024, while picking up relatives at the airport, the Kia Soul suddenly lost all power and emitted a gasoline and oil smell from the engine. The car wouldn't go faster than 5 miles per hour, and I had to have it towed back to DCH Kia in Temecula at a cost of $300. After a weekend, the service advisor, Mr. Christopher Koontz, informed me that the catalytic converter was faulty. This diagnosis was perplexing, given that the car had recently passed its smog check. Additionally, I noticed the engine had been burning oil and there was a gasoline smell on the oil dipstick. Despite these issues, Mr. Koontz stated that replacing the catalytic converter would cost $2,900, and I had already paid $300 for the diagnosis. I contacted Kia corporate in Irvine, California, but they refused to honor the 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Enclosed are pictures and videos showing rows of vehicles with blown engines at the dealership, indicating a widespread problem with Kia's GDI engines. I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from DCH Kia in Temecula, and I regret recommending this dealership to friends and family. Kia and Hyundai do not stand by their products, and now my elderly parents are without their beloved car.

Think about it before you buy
Recently bought a 2023 Kia soul at 187 miles check engine light came on took it back they reset the light the light came back on took it back. Finally they fix the issue. They also offered me a full tank of gas for a good review, but then all this happened manager Damien I had agree to help me on some issues I called him. I text him no reply. I will never buy a vehicle from this dealership ever again and no I do not recommend this dealership.

Worst experience ever!
I purchased a 2023 Kia Forte GT-Autoline package approximately 4 months ago. The sales rep that sold me the car conned me into writing him a good review for exchange of a full tank of gas. I never got my gas. I am already having electrical issues with the windows and Radio malfunctions. The tech that was working on the electrical problem damaged the new part and door panel. Initially, the Service advisor Nick did not seem to care and or was going to return the car back to me damaged. The service department treated me as if I was lying about the radio malfunctions that I am currently experiencing. Scheduled appointments do not mean anything, because unscheduled maintenance takes precedence. My car was kept for a day in a half for a window switch. They do not offer loaners or shuttles. I will trade in my car for a Honda very soon. I can only imagine how they will treat you when your car is out of warranty. I usually purchase Honda; however, they were sold out. Just another case of "Oh-well" syndrome.

Consistent service is key
Service consistency, right the first time, and update offers by service personnel are appreciated. Right the first time was crucial last service since needed to drive car cross country the very next day.

Definitely worth stopping in!!!
Carlos and Daniel were very helpful and made the process of buying my 2022 Kia Telluride very simple and showed me everything in the vehicle before I left. If you're ever in the market for a kia, come here and see one of these two gentleman! They deserve a raise. This place also has very competitive and lower prices than many dealerships in San Diego County.

Perma plate fraud
Perma plate optional warranty fraud.It is basically a extended appearance protection when it already comes with manufacturer warranty of 3yrs. Sales person will tell you it cannot be removed but when you sign the contract they will list it under optional items. They will charge you upto $1500

I checked around and found the Kia dealership in Temecula had the best rating in Southern California. I spoke with Jeremy he was great on the phone and he also checked me in for my service. When I came to pick up the car everything was in order he did some extra checking on the vehicle and I felt I could trust the service and the dealership. I will only bring my car here in the future. I highly recommend them.

Battery was bad when the vehicle was purchased.
The Service Manager, Jeremy, was extremely helpful, polite and professional. For medical reasons, i required the car the following Monday morning and I contacted the service department late on Friday. The service manager informed me that if I arrived before quitting time that he would make sure that the car would be ready that afternoon. The service went smoothly and I was totally satisfied.

WATCH OUT! DCH KIA does a lot of false advertising
DCH KIA in Temecula will post the lowest price but once you are physically at the dealership to purchase the vehicle. They will NOT acknowledge the price the advertise on Cars.com. They will lure buyers to go there but they will not give you the deal they advertise.
