BUYER BEWARE!! BAIT AND SWITCH!!

BUYER BEWARE!!! Bait and switch!! I stopped by to trade in my vehicle. Looked at a few SR5 Premium 4Runners and found one in their system that matched all of the spec I was looking for. I saw it online advertised for the same price as the price in their system. We went back and forth on negotiations. Almost took a hour. We agreed to a price. They take my keys and start drawing up paperwork for financing. The salesman comes back, 45 minutes later, and tells me they can't sell the car unless I agree to pay $6,000 more. They told me the car was lifted but they didn't know that...even though they put the lift on at their shop. Their other option was that I could get an SR5 and come back a different time and they'd manually upgrade everything to make it a "premium" Now it's late. Store is closed. I told them I wasn't going to pay $6,000 as we already agreed to a price on a VIN and I wasn't going to get the SR5. I asked the salesman for my paperwork back as it had my signature on it. The sales manager FINALLY comes out from behind his desk and meets me. Tells me he can't give it out and that I need to leave. I asked again and he started yelling at me that I needed to leave, now. I again asked for my paperwork and he came back with everything except the sales menu. Told me I could leave his store now. I asked again for the sales menu and he begins claiming he has no idea where it's at and yelling at me to leave his store. Telling him I wasn't going to leave without it, he magically finds it and demands that I leave. I leave and call the next morning first thing to speak with a general manager. No one knows his number though. It took three phone calls, leaving voicemails with various people and finally I got a call back from a different sales manager at 2pm....still no word from the GM.

Great Experience

I was very happy with the service I received. They fixed the crake in my windshield while my car was getting serviced and took care of all the paperwork and insurance stuff. The service and windshield repair was complete a lot earlier than estimated, which was a pleasant surprise.

Bill Grubb is always the best when we bring our 2014 4 Runner in for servicing. He is honest and we feel his group does a great job servicing our truck in a timely manner. We always make appointments with his group.

Great Experience

We had a great experience at AutoNation. They had a huge selection compared to other dealers we visited in the area. I felt no pressure from the salesman, Brian Matsumoto, who was very helpful and patient. And the best part is that I found a car I love!
