Wow! I've dealt with a lot of dealers in my time but these guys are up there on the top of my list! The car is in excellent condition (allowing for it being 17 years old), Joe was very helpful and straightforward about everything. Chip and Sam backed him up in the office. Everything was as stated and ready when I came up to get the car, and then the extra care kicked up a notch! Any extras they could provide to make my life easier were there. Follow-up phone calls to make sure that I was satisfied. I haven't been treated this well with dealers that I knew personally... Super buying experience. Ive already started handing out their business cards. In the words of the Terminator, "I'll be back".

Salesmen was very professional. Only complain was top didn't work on car and we had traveled quite a ways to see it.

With four daughters, four colleges, four autos for the four daughters and four weddings,we are finally recovering from the many joys, and financial hardships, our energetic brood has bestowed upon us. Key to our recovery was to find the car of our dreams. Through a long process of daily internet searches we found that single almost "one-of-a-kind" 2008 Red BMW 328i Stick shift hardtop convertible at Chip's. They seem to specialize in finding great picks from local car dealers who find a trade-in that's out of its factory warranty yet in pristine condition and would prefer to move it on to a used car dealer than deal with older models on their lots where the emphasis is to sell at higher new car prices. John Ming, their sales manager, assisted with my sale. When he found I was a serious buyer and willing to fly from sunny FL to CT; then take a cab from the Hartford Airport just to look at the car, he helped arrange all the processing papers and had everything ready for my inspection and pick-up. The inspection was flawless and all was just as they purported the car would be. Though retired and showing signs of my age, I felt like a teenager again as I made the 18 hour road trip back to sunny Florida. Thanks again folks. Both myself and my Mrs are now enjoying the "Little red thing" we have so longed for over the years. Not to mention the car is now in a sunny place where it no longer needs to worry about icy roads, salt and snow. Thanks Chip, John and staff for a great experience.

These guys have been in business for quite a while so there's something to say about that in itself. The first time I went there was because my daughter was looking at cars. The first thing I noticed was there was no pressure to buy. The sales person, Jon was just there to answer questions and didn't push any one car on us. The prices are listed as "Bottom Price" and this seemed to hold true. When it came time for me to look for a car myself, I stopped by there first. I noted the prices and went to look elsewhere. Other used car dealers in the area, which there are plenty, appeared to price their cars so they could let you haggle the price down. I couldn't compare apples to apples but generally s-peaking, these prices were 15% higher than Chips. Anyway, I bought a 5 year old Jeep Patriot which was fine as I drove it off the lot but developed a rattle (sway bar bushing) the very next day. While this was not covered under the 60 day warranty, Chips covered the repair cost. So in my opinion good car, good sales people, good service.

I had a great experience buying a car here! I had gone to 3 other dealerships previously and they were all very pushy and aggressive in their attempt to make a sale. They also were not up front with me about the turn around time between signing paperwork and taking my car home. Chip's was very upfront about everything and gave me realistic expectations for how the process would work for me, as I had very poor credit. They were a pleasure to work with, returned all my calls right away and sold me a vehicle at a price that was well below the Kelly Blue Book value. I will definitely be going to them for any vehicles in the future.
