I have purchased nine vehicles over the past 20+ years from Chip's. All were good vehicles, in excellent condition and at a reasonable price. Over the years we've worked with many sales people and have never had a bad experience. If we did, we certainly wouldn't have returned. Recently we purchased #8 & #9 and both John and Chip were very pleasant and helpful. Whenever we're in the market for a new car or truck Chip's is the first, and usually the last, place we visit. I have recommended Chip's to friends and several have also purchased from there.

I have bought two cars from John Ming at Chips Auto Sales and really had a great experience. John was helpful and answered all of my questions. He really understood what I was looking for and I couldn't be happier with both cars that I purchased. I'd definitely go back when I am shopping again.

I went to Chips to look at a truck I saw online. John came out and introduced himself and gave me the answers I was asking to the questions about the vehicle I was looking at. I went back 3 days later to actually try to purchase the vehicle and it was very easy. The guys there at Chips made my car buying experience a good one. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a used car and also possibly shopping with them in the future.the e_z of financing, registering the truck was very easy and simple it was not stressful and I was in n out in no time.thanks to Chips and John I was able to get the vehicle that I've been looking for for the last couple of years.

Great experience buying a vehicle from these people, John is honest and forthright and did all he could to get us the best deal possible. Our credit was not best but he was able to make it work. Vehicle was in excellent condition as advertised and a couple little issues were dealt with by the time we came back to pick the car up. The prices are fair, and there is not much room to haggle but less than NADA and the vehicles are all new car trades, no auction or fleet cars. I will come back here for my next vehicle purchase and recommend all interested in a truly fair deal to check these guys out

Great Dealership, Fair cars at a fair price..You get what you pay for.. No surprises here.. Mr Chip is tough, but fair.. He has been doing this for a long time. If you know your car and what you want, then you can deal.. There are no free lunches at Chip's.. Sorry, we didn't buy his car, only because it didn't have all the stuff we wanted..Would shop again.. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are scam artists and sell lemon's that they just make look like everything is fine in until you drive away. I know multiple people who not even a week later their new cars were in the shop. Horrible customer service. Pay the extra and deal with a REAL car dealership.

Shopping on line and found the car I was looking for. After reading the first review I did some checking on my own. Turns out that almost every car I looked up on chips web site were priced a thousand or two UNDER retail book value. I looked up the values on NADA on line. I bought my civic for 2275.00 UNDER the retail value at 10990.00 wich was the on line price. wich by the way the car fax said the value of the car was 380.00 above retail wich means I should have paid 13275 + 380 (13655) for the car. it was a great deal. so much for bad info on the first review. One Happy Customer.

owner was very nice but has zero room for negotiating. not even after the carfax HE pulled out HIMSELF stated the car was $435 over priced. he told me he would rather wait for the right price to come from CA than bargain with a local CT guy.after all, the money in CT is no different than that of CA once it gets into his bank account. He wouldnt even let me take the car for a test drive. Got the same car for $2000 less from a different dealer.
