I was going to purchase a vehicle from them, they sold the car the day before I got there. I had an appointment but they didn't call or text to say that it was sold.

I am writing this on the side of the road while waiting
I am writing this on the side of the road while waiting for the tow truck. I purchased the 2016 VW Tiguan in November and 2 months later - after $4,000 of engine works (partially covered by the dealer's warranty at the repair shop recommend by the warranty) - the engine died while driving. This is my 16 year old daughter's car and I am so thankful I was the one driving when it happened. This is so disappointing, I don't wish this experience to anyone. - Update - The engine needs another $2,700 (balance shaft seized) with no guaranty that no other problem will come up given the evidences of poor workmanship from the Carma repair shop (engine brace untight and engine timing belt cover gasket replace by large amount of sealant). Several repair shops recommend a engine replacement which would be $7,000 for a used one. At this point the car is not worth repairing and I have lost $11,000 for a car driven 500 miles. This is by far the worst car purchase experience I have ever had. The sweet people of Carma did contact me basically asking to remove my negative comment and telling me that they would work on an arrangement but with no follow-up, my multiple emails and phone calls remained unanswered.

Exceptional !
Exceptional ! The moment I walked in I felt welcomed . I was treated as a potential buyer and not a looker by Nuria , she had a clam informative approach while we test drove the vehicle. The follow ups & revisiting of the vehicle were more in depth on the technology I wasn’t familiar with . Which I really appreciated! There is financing available & extended warranty’s. I also met with Greg & Jake while I was closing the transaction. Each of them were very accommodating to my transportation needs and also the vehicle’s final “ out the door “ request I had . Their 5 year service warranty is included . I got a low mileage, fair priced MB ! I would recommend Carma Automotive Group 101% Thank you to the team CM

No contact.
No contact. Or response from the dealership after several attempts. Very interested in the vehicle. Maybe it’s not the right time for this vehicle.

Carma automotive group, in Duluth, Georgia stole my $4500
Carma automotive group, in Duluth, Georgia stole my $4500 down payment and then sold the car to someone else without returning my down payment to me. This is the most terrible and despicable car dealership and vehicle transaction I’ve ever had in my entire life as a 47-year-old male who has owned over 30 vehicles. I am willingly to press charges to the full extent of the law and do everything in my power to shut the dealership down completely. Do not conduct business with these people unless you want to help me shut them down. John White

My hunt for the right car lasted several months because
My hunt for the right car lasted several months because the model I was chasing was relatively hard to find. Searching through Kelly Blue Book I found only two examples with the coveted S54 motor, both out of my budget. Several dealers. including Carma Automotive Group, had the car with the lesser S52. I chose the one from CAG and made arrangements to fly to Atlanta and drive the 1,100 miles home. Knowing it was a vintage car (1999) I knew there would be a few things that would need work, but it came as a Certified Pro-Owned with a token warranty and the assurance that many repairs had been completed. When I arrived home I took it in to my BMW mechanic. Within an hour I discovered the car was unsafe to drive. The tires had good tread, and looked brand new, but had been sitting on a shelf for a dozen years. All four tires had considerable age cracks and I was lucky to have driven the 1,100 miles at freeway speeds without incident. ( How Long Should a Set of Tires Last? (caranddriver.com) ) Additionally two struts were leaking and the axel bushing was torn, plus a number of smaller items. My repair estimate is around $9,000. On the plus side the body was in great condition and the motor seems healthy. Jennifer was pleasant and accommodating. Take your mechanic with you.
