We had a great experience. The salesman Pat was wonderful. We looked at many Highlanders and they had the best for the price. Buying a car was never so easy. We had a concern about the battery light being on and they took care of the problem right away. I would highly recommend this dealership.

The right car at the right price
I always buy Subaru. When I was ready to buy a relatively low cost Subaru so I could have a second car, I did my research on very specific features, with a specific mileage point in mind. That said, I found what I was looking for at Preferred Auto and after researching prices for a month or more, I knew they listed a price that was spot on if not a bit lower for the make/model/mileage Subaru I wanted. Once I saw the car, and drove it - I was ready to buy and they didn't have to do much to convince me. I agree with what other people have mentioned, they don't really deal. I asked for new front brake pads, and they put them on. I needed some special consideration because it was a Saturday. My bank was closed, so they agreed to a deposit/wire transfer. I had to drive my car home two hours and come back to get the vehicle, and they worked with me on all the arrangements. They even gave me the wireless key so I could pick my car up after hours.Buying a car requires diligence and it's important to understand the market before you make a decision. One more tip - if you buy used, consider Subura, they hold up well and once you go AWD, you won't go back. I LOVE MY NEW SUBARU!

Average but I found what I was looking for
Our salesman Drew was great. Young guy no pressure, didn't over sale or give us some load of how great all the cars were. However, the sales manager will not work with you. No discount for a broken cd player or interior lights that did not work, and a 3% sur-charge for using a bank card. As a business owner that is to high for a surcharge, my credit card broker only charges me 1.5% for customer transactions, so is this manager missing the boat or just making money on unsuspected customers? In addition, we were the only ones there that evening and never got a hello as he walked by. Without Drew I would give a 2 star for customer service. Okay with that said they did have some fairly priced vehicles which is why we went there to begin with and did buy an Acura TL at a fair price. Would say it was fairly clean, I did have to wipe down the interior which I did not have to do when I bought a truck from Kings Auto Mall but Preferred had better prices this time so I can handle that trade off. Kings customer service was amazing though! Look around but if you find something here don't plan on any negotiation and pay with a check and bring you Armor All cleaner.

Thanks for recommending us. Unfortunately our credit card surcharge charged by our provider is high as we do so few transactions. Often cars turn so fast we don't get time to detail them as thoroughly as we would like. We will try and do better. It is awfully hard to keep anything clean on this busy road. I feel like this was the best deal i have ever made! Seriously everything was fast and easy, i came i saw and i bought it! Guys were super nice there, i would go out with them some time ;) They didn't gave me a discount but thats fine, i still got the best deal, it was the cheapest one in ohio. They helped me with everything, talked to my bank, explained all vehicle options, there is so many of them! Thank you guys, i'll be back to see you!

Incorrect Info Given Over 6 hours WASTED!!!!
My Husband called to inquire about a car and spoke to "Drew" We told Drew that we lived just under 3 hours away and were extremely interested in the car, Drew told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and that it was a great car. We asked for additional pictures and Drew's response was if we had looked at the ones online already? We were then advised he couldn't get any more pics of under the hood as everything was to close together, but reassured us that they car was in great condition and had no mechanical defects. We asked the dates of the last oil change and when/if the belts were changed. He sounded more annoyed and not confident. We arrived to the dealership that afternoon. We looked at the car, waited a few minutes and a gentleman came out to help us, whom I didn't get the name of. He was young and Asian. The FIRST thing he told us was that this car had transmission issues. I appreciate his honesty but REALLY upset that 6 hours of my day were wasted on my first real vacation in 2.5 years. So my recommendation is you feel compelled to buy from here, don't buy from Drew and don't call about a car because can't get correct info.

Happy with my purchase
Very nice people working there, helped me pick right car for me. I had couple in mind that i wanted and they had exactly what i wanted. And according to my search that i done on line they had the lowest prices for many miles around.

Over priced cars, unwilling to make a deal
Thank god I only live about a mile away from this place because if I drove out of my way to visit, I would have been highly upset. Dealer acted like he had no interest in selling us a car. The car was dirty, and had a few dents and scratches on it, along with a few mechanical problems. Which would have been fine if the dealer was willing to take a few hundred off of the asking price....... he wasn't. At all. In fact, most of the cars there were in poor condition with ridiculously high asking prices. Lots of room for improvement, and it's a true shame that this dealership is the way it is.

Thank you very much for your review! We are understand you are upset because we didn't accept your offer. But please don't say that all of our cars are overpriced and dirty because its is not true. It may not be the cleanest and may have few scratches but it is a used cars and we do are best to prepare the for sale. We also appraise cars on its condition. According to used car search engines we have one of the most cheapest cars in state some even in country.
Cars dirty, Wont make deals
Online pictures didn't point out the amount of damage the cars had. Wasted time to go see. Very dirty, they knew i was coming to look at car and it had garbage in it still. Made an offer anyway, salesman wouldn't even play ball! Way too many problems with the cars requiring more repairs that when added to sales price made the car unfeasible to purchase. Went 12 miles up the road to Kings Automall, got the exact same car with more options with 30k thousand miles less, with NO damage for only $1000 more than the price these guys wouldn't budge from. Glorified Buy here Pay here lot. Buyer beware!

Poor Customer Service, Cars not ready 4 sale
Went to check out two toyota matrix's that we found on their website. When we walked in the guy looked at us like we had two heads and never did say Can I help You . I had to speak first. Got in the first Toyota matrix for a test drive ,(the other was not on the lot because it was being serviced). The car started up but immediately started shimmying like it was going to stall. The salesman looked under the hood & said one cylinder was misfiring. The gas tank was on E which is not good when people are going for a test drive. He had us follow him down the street to look at the other matrix but the mechanic had the keys so we couldn't even listen to the engine. The salesman just kept apologizing and seemed distracted and not interested in making a sale. These two cars should not have been listed on the website for sale until they were ready to sell. When we asked how long they were on the lot he said 5 weeks. I would think after five weeks these minor repairs would have been fixed!! They are losing sales by not having cars available for immediate sale. They should stop listing them on their site until they are ready to sell!!!!

Do Not Go There!
Drove two hours to see a few cars they had on their website that were in our price range. No one would come out to help us - had to go inside to find a salesman. When I asked about two of the cars on our list, he said they were out being serviced. There were other cars we wanted to see, but he would not talk to us or ask us what we were interested in, he said "well, there're all for sale". He was a total jerk. Even after I told him we were serious buyers he would not speak to us or even come around us. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. We took our cash money to King's Toyota where we got excellent service on a dependable car. If anyone from Preferred Autos reads this, you will remember me because you threw me off your lot for telling you know what I think!

Thank you very much for your review!We have only one salesman on stuff right now, it he has to multi task all the time, answering the phone and email's and some time its hard to see that some one drove in, so we ask our customer to please walk in. At the end of seller notes we always ask all of costumer to please call us before making a trip to make sure that vehicle is available. Here in Preferred Autos we are not all about the money! So if you are coming with here bad attitude, bad attitude is probably what you will get, because we are people here too and we got feelings!
