Lengthy wait for service, unable to load maps.

I had a 10:00 am appointment time for some routine maintenance to catch up since my car was in Guam for 3 years. Services performed: brake flush, oil change, alignment, and front wipers replaced. Getting US maps installed was also requested. I did receive a call at 14:00 to inform me of 2 issues with the car; battery issue and leaky transmission. Also told that the alignment was underway. Arrived at 14:30 and told car was out, driving to check alignment .At 15:00 my husband had to leave for another appointment, so at 16:00 was told they were working on the maps, unable to install. A little later informed that the car had to be reprogrammed and then would try re-installing maps. At 17:00 told they are unable to install maps and would need to make a new appointment for this. Also informed that the price was increase from $165.00 to $361.00. So overall, a 10 AM service appointment took 7 hours, they doubled the cost for one of the services required and were unable to complete the map reprogramming.

Boise BMW Repair

Ryan, my service representative totally took care of me. Kept me informed even when the repair took longer than quoted. Everyone at the dealership was really friendly and willing to help when I was just standing around. Great communication and a pleasure to take my car to.

Awesome car, Awesome service!

I recently saw that they had a 2018 Subaru WRX STI that I was looking for in the color that I wanted. They were very responsive when I reached out about setting up a test drive and were very accommodating. I was able to get financing set up very quickly and Teresa was awesome in helping me get everything set up. Will definitely go there for the wife's new car in a year or two!!!

Very professional outfit. The service rep had a loaner car warmed up and running when I arrived. They had the problem diagnosed and fixed within two hours. I would recommend Peterson to anyone.

Did not bargon for this! Recall service that cost me $1032!

Had a recall service appointment for the Tecata airbag and a defective blower motir harness. I also asked for an LOF service. When my vehicle was ready, I noticed that as soon I turned on the ignition, the radiator fan was operating. This has NEVER happened before. I thought it may perhaps had something to do with the new wiring harness and since they were no warning lights on, I left the dealership. A couple of miles down the road, the hot amber warm engine warnign light came on, followed by the red light. As per the fail-safe protection feature, the engine power was cut-off and I stopped. Peterson towd my vehicle in for a look. Upon oonnspection, they informed that my electric water pump had seized up and needed replacement. I know coincidences happen, but this one was very suspicious...No prior warning whatsoever and the engine had never exhibited any syptoms of a failing water pump. The inspectiion report stated variable amperage draw from the electric water pump. I am not certain that this was the case. I travel extensively and do not have the time at the moment to look into this "coincidence" further, but I will ask the dealership to show the deffective pump and go from there. Unfortunately, They completed the water pump replacement at 5:40PM, called me to come fetch the vehicle and I was forced to pay over the phone and piuck my vehicle up after 6PM., thus no communication from the service person or further pursue of the old water pump condition by me.
