Honda will not honor factory or extended warranty
If I could give Honda no stars I would have. Honda dealership in Temecula, CA because they are NOT WILLING to honor their own factory warranty or a paid extended warranty related to repairs of a sports car with only 11,000 mi. My grandson took the car in for service and was immediately told it would cost nearly $10,000 to replace the entire transmission and they never mentioned the warranty. When the warranty was mentioned Honda claimed it wouldn’t apply because it doesn’t cover “wear and tear.” The car only has 11,000 mi. The finance department reviewed the extended warranty and the transmission is covered. Plus the transmission is covered under the factory warranty up to 5 years or 60,000 mi. Now Honda claims the car has been abused and that’s why the warranty is not being used. How could a car be abused with only 11,000 miles of driving. A Honda service tech admitted the original tires look brand new. The main problem is Honda had concluded the car must have been abused when they saw my grandson, a young minority male driver. Now what young male would abuse a brand new sports car purchased as a gift by his parents. Honda made this conclusion even before the transmission was pulled out and inspected. So basically they profiled him, a minority male and the type of car he drove, a sports car. An investigation with Honda corporate has been initiated. But people still need to be aware of what takes place at our local Honda dealership. Our young people should not be taken advantage of by our local dealerships.

Excellent service!!
From the moment I arrived, everything was very professional, and despite the busy holiday time, everyone was very friendly, and efficient. I was there for an oil change, and Russ Capuano quickly checked me in. About a half hour later, Russ followed up with me on some other issues, and then the team quickly completed those too, and my car was done within an hour. Even the cashier was very professional and friendly! What a nice treat to actually enjoy getting your car serviced!! Merry Christmas to the Honda Team, and thanks for a great experience!!

Cody took the time to follow up with me after my first visit and helped find just the right car based on my expectations.
