After a life-time of shying away from car dealers, I was amazed to be able to purchase a car online through Gill Auto Group in Madera, CA. Jim Hamby was very easy to work with, very professional, very knowledgable, and very gracious in making this purchase a very pleasant experience. The accounting department (Rosalind Freyre) was amazing—very professional, very fast, very easy to understand, very friendly, and so different from most who work in accounting departments. Overall, my experience with Gill Auto Group was a very good one, and I would have no hesitation in returning to purchase another vehicle from them, or bragging about finding them to family, friends and colleagues. I had the deal set, including finaning approved. I made a $500 deposit over the phone. Just needed to get off work only a couple hours after making the deposit so I could book a flight. While in the process of purchasing airfare (i would have flown in 2 days later) I get a text NOT A PHONE CALL, telling me not to buy a ticket because they just sold the vehicle. Guess you can't count on a deposit to hold a vehicle, even for a couple hours So you can live you will be there.

I put a deposit on a car, financing was arranged and just needed to book a flight after work that day to fly out a couple days later.(I live almost 400 mi. Away.) before I could even get that done they sent me a text NOT A PHONE CALL. Saying that they had just sold the car. I guess they just want the sale NOW!!!
