David Rodriguez will waste your time, save yourself the headache and stay away from Gil’s. It’s by far the worst dealership I’ve ever experienced, very unprofessional!!!

worse customer service ever.

worse customer service ever. When asking for a call back no one returns my calls. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for a call back.

Horrible customer service!

Horrible customer service!! My car was damaged there after taking it to swap out the battery. I dropped it off 8am and returned at 12pm as the suggested finish time. I noticed my batter was removed, but the peeson who removed it dragged it across my bumper because it was too heavy, causing scratches all down the bumper. The service manager Louis was very rude and condescending when talking about the damage. Now its 5pm and my car still isnt ready. They finally finished but did not update uConnect service which throws codes once battery is disconnected. Now I have to take it to another dealership to finish their job. Very disappointed at such Horrible service. Dont go to Madera Dodge, drive the extra distance its worth your sanity.

Absolute NIGHTMARE

We purchased a car from Micheal in August. The salesman told us it was great car, and only two owners. 4 days after getting the vehicle the check engine came on, and it’s come on 3 other times since then in 3 months. Only once was it covered under the warranty. Not to mention the way they treated us with absolute disrespect when putting down almost half the price of the car. At most dealerships they are happy to have your business. Then they tried cancelling our sale after we put the down payment because someone else wanted the vehicle. We should have let them!!

The service department is the worst I’ve ever been to.

The service department is the worst I’ve ever been to. Mike Dusan tries to stick me with a service fee every time I go in despite paying for the warranty. After a little back in forth he always says “oh there it is” like he didn’t see it. Now they want $250 just to run a diagnostic on why I can’t turn of my park sense (though they sold it to me this way). The sales department also lied to me about the Jeep being 4x4 though it is not.

Buyer Beware

On 1/28/2023, purchased a used vehicle from Gill Auto in Madera. There were extra fees for Shield GPS and Security Theft that we were not interested in. We were told that those fees could not be removed as the tracker and etching are done as soon as the vehicle comes off the truck (per finance). We were really happy with our purchase until a few days after (1/31/2023) when we noticed an oil leak. Initially, we thought it was coming from the oil pan and called the service department (2/1/2023) . We were told that we would have to bring the vehicle in and they would have an investigator determine if the leak was covered under the powertrain warranty (that the sales staff spoke highly of). After having a local mechanic look over the vehicle, we discovered the oil leak was actually coming from the oil filter housing. Another phone call (2/6/2023) to the service department only to find out that this fix was not covered under the powertrain warranty and would cost another $1200. We believe they were well aware of this leak when they inspected and changed the oil 3 weeks prior.

Service Department is a JOKE!

The "Service" Department is a nightmare. The earliest appointment was over a month out which is understandable to some degree because of supply chain issues, etc., but on the morning of the appt. and while I was driving to Gill, the service "manager" Mike Dusan called to ask me if I could drop off my vehicle at a later date becuase they are short 6/10 mechanics. They initially told me that it would be within 24 hrs to diagnose the problem of vehicle. after calling every other day to find out the status, they told me that it would probably be tomorrow and this went on for a week. They never returned my calls and could never provide a straight answer. They are completely lost and it showed on all fronts. Finally they said that I could pick up my vehicle if I wanted, so I did, It was never looked at and upon picking up my vehicle Mike didnt even acknowledge me. No appology, remorse or anything for completely inconveniencing my life for a week. I will have my vehicle repaired at another dealership and then trade it in for a $75,000 brand new 2023 model. They not only lost my business to future sales but trust that word of mouth is very powerful and I will be extremely vocal about my horrible experiance for years to come. Take my advice and run from their circus of unprofessionalism, ineptness, lies and deception. Gill is a bunch of amatures at business but professional crooks. Run!
