Too many hoops and massive add-on doc fee!

Attempted to make a cash buy but simply gave up due to protracted process. Salesman would phone me, he had to consult a manager, days would pass with no answer so we bought elsewhere. Several hundred dollar Doc fee is ABSURD, I might add, considering I'd do my own title transfer. Pity, 'cos these folks sell decent vehicles, but who needs the hassle?.

Patience and Integrity in a salesman--Eric

I found Eric very pleasant to work with. He stayed well past closing time to work deal with me. The 2007 VW rabbit I am interested in has had some recalls and warranty extension for trans valve case and he worked to find evidence that the recalls had been addressed and resolved. Still waiting to hear more about the trans issue. Very good impression so far.

GM Nick is Awesome!!

I would like to give a shoutout to the GM Nick, he is the best!! I bought a Cadellic from here a couple weeks ago and had problems with it.. I called and spoke with Nick and he fixed the car for me on the house, even though he went out of his way of doing that and after all that I didn’t want the car anymore.. Nick refunded me a full refund with no complaints. He loves making ppl happy and sastified. I really appreciate it!! If I do decide to go back there to look at another car, I’ll def be asking for Nick bc he’s so caring bout his customers. I can def trust his words.. Thanks again Nick!!

Just FRUSTRATING!!! 😤

Disclaimer: I have BAD CREDIT! Obviously buying a car will be challenging to begin with. I get that! What I DON'T get is how having "2nd chance program credit" (yes, I was actually told this by the finance manager) caused me to get a HIGHER sales price than what was advertised and emailed to me! My other frustration with them was the fact that they lead me to believe a vehicle I was interested in was ready for sale, which it was NOT! My wife and I traveled to the dealership on THREE separate occasions yet the vehicle still wasn't ready. Not only that, but the terms (dn pymnt, etc) were agreed in a prior email, then when we get to the dealership we got the ol'fashion "bait and switch"! I only wish I read these reviews before I decided to waste our gas and time! #SODISAPPOINTED #neveragain

The worst!!

THE WORST!! I have bought many cars before and this is the absolute worst experience ever. I called about a car advertised. No where in the advertisement did it mention a $499 processing fee. Apparently, this info is on their website and car gurus, but I didn't find the car on their website. I called about the car for my daughter. My ex husband drove over an hour to go look at it. He made an appointment in the morning to see the car at 8pm that night. He got there and the battery was dead. They knew he was coming in to see the car and they didn't even make sure it would start. Then, he drove it to Maryland the next day to have it looked over to make sure it would pass inspection. The salesperson assured me I shouldnt worry about The crack in the windshield and that 80% of their cars that pass VA inspection also pass MD inspection. My ex paid the fee to have it inspected and the tint failed. He took it back to the dealer and they removed the tint, claiming that it cost them $150 to remove tint from 2 Windows. I spoke to the sales rep on the phone and he advised me of the price that they had come down to. I said it was still a little higher than I wanted to pay and he said "we're not going to lose your business over a couple hundred bucks ". So, I drove 3 1/2 hours to look at the vehicle, drove it, and decided to negotiate the price. We were within $200 and they would not budge. They gave me the whole spiel that they were losing money on this car. The GM came out and spoke to me and told me that he was under the impression that we had already agreed on a price and he would have never paid to remove the tint had we not agreed to that price. I can guarantee that I would never agree to a price over the phone on a vehicle I've never seen. So we left. I called Back a few days later to agree to meet in the middle of our price difference. I'm about to make the long drive again and NOW, THEY MENTION THE $499 fee. I told him no thanks and then called Back to speak to the GM because this fee was not listed on the site where I found the car. He said that the fee was discussed when we were negotiating the price. He was not even at the table with the salesperson to know what was said, but I am 100% certain He never told me about the fee. The manager explained that it was in the paperwork. Well, I'm not reading over specifics of paperwork when I'm just trying to first come to a price. I told them that I wanted to walk out for no more than $9,000. They knew that was my top number, so why would they assume they can sneak in a $500 fee after the price is negotiated? He was incredibly rude and when I told him I would be writing this review, he laughed and said "Ok, thanks ". This dealership was unprofessional and dishonest. They used every trick in the book to get what they wanted. The car has been on their lot for a long time and now I can see why. Save yourself the trouble and go to a reputable business.

Swindled

Darcars received a pre-buy inspection at a MINI dealer prior to selling me a 2009 MINI Cooper. They were made aware of more than $6000 worth of repairs that the car needed, including a failing turbocharger ($4400.00). Their cars are used and are sold as-is, but knowingly withholding this information is deceitful and disgusting.
