long time customer

I will always go to this dealership because of their honesty when dealing with you on a new car or fixing a problem on your old one. The only problem I have after 32 years with James Woods Motors is the quality of repairs in the service dept. sorry....CB

DO NOT BUY FROM JAMES WOOD

BEWARE!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I bought a used 2010 GMC Terrain with about 75k miles from this dealership 5 months ago. The vehicle was sold to us as a RELIABLE car in excellent shape with NO KNOWN ISSUES. Since then I have had to replace: The camshaft sensor A solenoid A tire sensor for stability control A tire pressure sensor And all 4 tires (The tires that were on it when I bought it were supposedly in good shape but when I went to have them rotated the tire shop showed me that the rubber was separating from the webbing because the tires were so old) Recently the car started making a strange noise and the mechanic told me my timing chain was damaged due to running the motor out of oil. The motor had consumed 3 1/2 quarts of oil 3000 miles after my last oil change. To repair the damage it will be about $3000 and to fix the oil consumption issue the motor would either have to be refurbished or replaced. Believing that the dealership was not aware of this motor issue in this vehicle is hard when there is a class action lawsuit filed against GMC for this specific issue. Expired warranty or not, the dealership selling this vehicle to us as RELIABLE with NO KNOWN ISSUES is false advertisement and straight up irresponsible. They probably laughed at us as we were driving this vehicle off the lot . The dealership, unfortunately, does not seem to be interested in admitting their mistake and making this right. VERDICT: DO NOT BUY FROM JAMES WOOD and DO NOT BUY A GMC TERRAIN. My 2008 Ford edge with 200,000 miles that I traded in had less issues. GO BUY A FORD.

Great Experience for Senior Citizen

Buying a new car

As soon as I entered to showroom, i was greeted and started the process. I told my sales associate what I was interested in and within a matter of minutes I was taking a test drive. After a few test drives we found rhe vehicle that worked best for me. Will recommend the dealership and the sales associate.

Starla Longo

This was our first time to shop for a car at James Wood. Several friends had Buicks and gave the sales dept. high reviews. When I walked into the showroom, Starla met me before I had taken a couple of steps. That was the beginning of a very productive relationship. She asked me specifics of what I was looking for and then she went to work. Starla brought up a vehicle similar to what I wanted for me to test drive. That led to more specifics in color: interior and exterior plus options offered. Ultimately she found exactly what I wanted. Starla worked closely with us keeping us updated many times a day with emails. We traded in my Lexus and drove away in a “perfect” Buick, thanks to Starla.
