Minuteman VW

My husband and I bought a car here last week. We were impressed with the buying process (especially compared to where we bought our last car). It was quick and low-pressure, and our salesman Tim Bishop was knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient with our zillion questions and never made us feel rushed, even though we were buying about the least expensive thing we could. Jennifer Long did the signing, and she was also great. She explained the warranties but not in a way that, and she was very nice about doing a last-minute change to the financing. I would certainly recommend this dealership.

I walked into Minuteman VW as I would any other dealership: having a very good idea of what I am looking for and knowing a lot about the car (performance, history, trim levels, features, etc). When I spoke with Eric, it was very reassuring to have a salesperson who was as informed and knowledgeable about the car as I was (in many ways more than me). It always makes me feel a little uneasy to know more about something than the person whom is supposed to be selling me product and this certainly was not the case with Eric. As a sales manager, Timmy was very personable and approachable and did not try to wrap me up in gimmicks or nonsense. Although I would have liked to have gotten a better deal on the car, I did not walk out of the dealership feeling as though I had been hosed and feel like I got a fair deal on a nice car. Being that I live in RI and in addition to the recent COVID restrictions, it has been a bit of a process to get the car registered and delivered. Timmy has vowed to deal with RIDMV on my behalf. I have been told, and have no reason to believe otherwise, that the hold-up in regards to delivery of the new CPO vehicle (going on 2 weeks) is due to the DMV's painfully slow process. Overall, I am satisfied with this dealership and would certainly recommend them.

A refreshing car buying experience. Definitely worth your time and if you’re buying a Vw check here. We purchased a 19 Atlas from Timmy Pullo after searching for along time. We dealt with many other VW dealers - Minuteman was easily the best to deal with. Timmy and his staff treated us as if we were friends. I’ve been pretty underwhelmed by VW dealers over the last 2 years, both in our hunt for an Atlas and for our previous vehicle. We’ve liked the vehicles, not the dealers. Many have used deceitful tactics to try to sell cars- like bait and switch or price changing tactics, often at the expense of me having to drive several hours. Minuteman was straightforward and fair. First they steered us to the right vehicle for us. Timmy knew that we wanted a 19 Atlas with a sunroof. He was quick to tell us that they had several dealer demos that would be a substantially better deal on. He was right, and he gave us a great deal on the car. He wasn’t trying to up sell us into something else. Timmy went out his way for us on several occasions. Firstly, due to COVID, my wife and I wanted to see the car without anyone around. Timmy drove to the showroom when they were closed and on his day off so that he could pull the vehicle out of the garage so that we could see it without any other people around. Secondly, the vehicle was advertised with a roof rack and monster mats. When we went to see the vehicle they weren’t in it. Timmy went out of his way to ensure that we knew that they would take care of us by making sure that the equipment was in the car. We felt as if keeping their word was very important to this dealership. Finally, the appraisal of our car over the phone was exactly what he gave us for a trade in value. As simple as it sounds, a car dealer that keeps his word every time is more rare than one would hope. Minuteman was trustworthy and fair.

Car buying process was easy, didn’t feel pressured. Tim B’s customer service was great. Got a good deal on a used certified car.

Tim and the staff at Minuteman were terrific! I never felt pressured. They listen. Answer questions honestly and provide as much needed support throughout the buying experience. John in finance spoke clearly and honestly about additional options when it comes to protecting the vehicle. I would highly recommend Minuteman VW.

Tim Bishop was great. Knew the cars and was focused on getting me a deal on what I wanted. Not pushy or pitchy, asked questions and gave on point suggestions. Handled everything with the ins company and RMV, made everything super easy. 10/10

After 20 years, having to purchase a new car - something of which I dreaded - turned out to be a wonderful experience. Tim Bishop was professional, kind and patient. His easy going manner was just what was needed. I know he and all the other employees will be there, if and when, I need help. Found the car I wanted at cars.com, and was referred to Tim by their internet sales manager. He was great. Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. John in finance was also wonderful to work with, without the hard sell on lots of ad-ons. (He did sell me a couple of things after explaining well why they were a good idea, told me not to bother with a bunch of others...) Wonderful experience all around!

She was honest, fast and professional and we had a really good experience meeting with her and buying a car from her and minuteman. I would definitely suggest her to my friends.
