Jusuf Hodzic is the best. Like many other reviewers, it took around 15 minutes after stepping onto the Autobarn Mazda lot before anyone approached us. However, we did not find this to be a negative. It set the precedence for what was to be a low pressure sales environment - unlike other dealerships we visited where salesmen were circling at the driveway. We had ample time to browse new and used inventory. Jusuf Hodzic was our salesperson. His style is very relaxed, taking the time to ask a lot of questions and spending more time listening and supporting us through the transaction. We were stuck in between a used or new '14 CX5. We found Jusuf very knowledgeable and helpful. He crunched the numbers on both options and suggested the new car just made more sense. He gave us plenty of time to discuss our decision on our own after presenting all of the information. We re-crunched the numbers and he was dead on. Negotiation wasn't too difficult and we walked away feeling that everyone was happy. Have yet to try out the service aspect, which seems to be the major negative/annoyance for many reviewers on other sites.

Great Service - Disa Degrazia
I had a wonderful experience at The Autobarn Evanston with Disa Degrazia and Richard Kirkpatrick. I just purchased a car for the first time ever. Both Disa and Richard were extremely helpful. They took me under their wing and did a great job at breaking things down and explaining them clearly for me along the way. It was evident that they weren't in it to force me to buy anything or to make a quick deal. Instead they wanted me to enjoy the experience and leave completely satisfied. Disa was very open about her personal car shopping experiences and wanted me to learn from her mistakes. She was willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the car and the experience as a whole. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole process was quick and painless and I was delighted with my car. I strongly recommend The Autobarn especially Disa Degrazia.

Great service and no-pressure purchase!
I found my dream car at the Autobarn online and reached out via email to learn more. Disa Degrazia was quick to respond with a phone call and gave me all of the info I needed. She met with me to show me all of the cars that matched my desires and let me test drive until I was satisfied. Once I finally decided on the one for me, Disa's no-pressure approach made it a very easy transaction...and I even got a great deal! I highly recommend this dealership and especially Disa to anyone in the market for a new car!

A positive expereince
Bought a used 2010 CX-7. Our salesperson Thijs De Kool (aka Tice) was great. He understood our needs and got us the payment we wanted. The negotiation process was easy. The only part we didn't like was the upsale of more warranties during the financing portion conducted upstairs in the financing office by another individual. Other then that, we had an amazing experience. Ask for Tice when you go there, he's friendly and he knows the cars inside and out. He answered all our questions and made the buying process a positive experience. Can't wait to go back in the future to purchase another car!!!

Excellent Sales Team
I had the privilege of working with Thijs De Kool and Ross Conlon. Both were very professional and competent. I drove 3 hours from WI to find the car I wanted, and it was worth it! Both Ross and Thijs were intent on making sure I was happy with my purchase.

Never returning to this dealer again.
So, after writing a review in March, i decided to write another one now. i was contacted by the manager and spoke to me about giving me a free oil change and also his cellphone number, in case i had another problem. Up to this date I have not received his cellphone number or a free oil change. i am very disappointed with their customer service. Also, after a month of purchasing my car i noticed that i had no car manual and i decided to give them a call. I called Matt Lawless(who was my sales person) and after calling for four days, i had no response from him. I also emailed him and after a week or so he responded. i wrote on the email about the missing car manual(which to me is very important to have) it took him another TWO days to reply and said that he would give me the car manual, but i had to pick it up. i told him i was about an hour and a half away and it would be best if he could mail it to me. i was even going to pay for the shipping. up to this day i waiting on a response from him. I can't believe how horrible this sale person is.

Outstanding experience, Dealership is honest and...
Outstanding experience, Dealership is honest and friendly. We had a terrible experince with another dealership in Schaumburg but Daniel made us forget about that and treated us great. We saw the car on the internet so I called about the price to be sure it would be sold for that price with no hidden "add-ons". Daniel was very attentive to our needs and let us all test drive the car. It was imaculate and ready for us when we arrived. The experience was exactly what I had hoped for since it was my son's first time car shopping. He loves the car, the price was fair but the service was OUTSTANDING and the finance manager was very friendly. We will definately be coming back for more cars based on this experience, even if they are over an hours drive. Well worth the time and distance to work with such professionals. Purchase of used car.
Overall the everything went pretty smoothly. I was in town only for the weekend as I was flying in and saw the posting online so I decided to stop in to check out the the Infiniti G35x. Car was well maintained and the car drove nicely. The sales representive, Chris, was very helpful but the only draw back was there was no room for negotiation even though he said we could crunch the numbers and he may be able to knock off a few hundred dollars. After financing the vehicle, I asked about the price and he said it was already settled without us ever having the conversation whatsoever. I felt frustrated as I was told one thing but the decision was made prior to me being consulted. I went ahead and purchased the car but I would recommend to anyone that you should have come to a price prior to as they may just go ahead and use the listed price as that is what happened with me.

poor sales
We were working with one sales person for a week and a half about one of the corporate cars. We needed information about one of the features before purchasing and it took that long to get the answer. Went to see the car and possibly purchase after speaking to the salesperson earlier that day, after an hour drive and the car was not at the car was not at the dealership. Very unprofessional.
