The sales person name Miguel, he is very nice and helpful

The sales person name Miguel, he is very nice and helpful when I talk and deal with the car i buy. The McGrath Honda people are very nice and friendly.

Good sales people, bad managers

I enjoyed working with my sales person, the management not so much. Especially Luis Martinez, a finance manager. I purchased a new vehicle outright and he titled my vehicle under the wrong address. Did a poor job owning up to his mistake, but none the less promised it would be fixed. 4 weeks later still not fixed. He does not respond to messages and follow-up is poor and none existent. He didn’t even confirm the they received my payment for the vehicle like he said he would after I sent a wire. I had to call my sales person after well over a day after they received the wire to confirm all is good. Ridiculous. I sent an email to Kino, another manager, since their survey email asked if there is an issue to reach out to him. Shocker, I haven’t heard from him either. It clear to me I’ll have to try to re-title the car myself and get everything corrected. If they or Luis Martinez paid attention to their customers and follow through on things when they say they will, I wouldn’t be writing this review. I did notify them right away that the title had the wrong address but they send in the paperwork anyway. Thank you McGrath Honda of Elgin management for making a a simple full cash purchase experience of a new civic very difficult. Do yourself a favor, especially if you’re a cash buyer, go elsewhere. Thank me later. Best of luck.

I enjoyed working with my salesperson, the management not

I enjoyed working with my salesperson, the management not so much. Especially Luis Martinez, a finance manager. I purchased a new vehicle outright and he titled my vehicle to the wrong address. Did a poor job owning up to his mistake, but none the less promised it would be fixed. 4 weeks later, it is still not fixed. He does not respond to messages and follow-up is poor and next to nonexistent. He didn’t even confirm they received my wire transfer for the vehicle like he said he would. Basically, gave me their bank info, I wire the money and you don’t hear back from them. Wow! I had to call my sales person the day after so she could try and confirm. The guy needs to take his job a bit more seriously. I sent an email to Kino, another manager, since their survey email asked if there is an issue to reach out to him. They did title the vehicle wrong and promised to fix it, but what a shocker, I haven’t heard from him either. Must take his attentiveness to his job from Luis Martinez. It is clear to me that I’ll have to try to re-title the car myself and get everything corrected. If they or Luis Martinez paid attention to their customers and followed through on things when they say they will, I wouldn’t be writing this review. I did notify them right away that the title had the wrong address, but they sent in the paperwork to the state anyway. All because of Luis Martinez, if he were to check his messages or follow up with customers, this could have been prevented. Thank you McGrath Honda of Elgin management for making a simple full cash purchase experience of a new civic very difficult. Do yourself a favor, especially if you’re a cash buyer, go elsewhere.
