Buying a Lexus?

Buying a Lexus? This may be a bit long, but, if you are seeking a great car buying experience, LEXUS of RT 10 in Whippany is the place to go; and Pete Posterino is the salesman to see. First, let me tell you that the moment you walk into their showroom, you are treated courteously and with respect and professionalism. They advertise that they offer white glove, red carpet service and believe me, they certainly do. It is easy to see why. They are a team of professionals who work together to give their customer the best car buying experience ... not just for a sale today, but so they will be happy and satisfied first and come back again and again and send their friends. Pete Posterino definitely proved this time and again. Let me tell you a little story: I bought a 2015 Lexus E350 from Master Certiified Sales Consultant Pete Posterino. My experience was over the top. After 6 years or so, I decided to give the car to my niece, who liked it so much at the time, and thought I would try a different make and model. I owned the new make and model for about 4 years or so and just could not "forget the feel" of that great Lexus ride. So, I decided to go back to Lexus. This time, being a bit older, I wanted a smaller car. I called Lexus of Rt 10 and asked for ... you guessed it ... Pete Posterino. Oh, yes, I was so pleased Pete was still there after 10 years. I asked about the LBX, which I saw online. He took the time to research and confirm that it is only being sold overseas and there is no news on it being sold in the USA anytime soon. He suggested I come in at my convenience to take a look at the UX ... no sales, talk, just answered all my questions with patience and was so very courteous. Just said, come in, take a look, test ride it to see if you like it. While on the phone, he also looked into any other information I requested. Well, it took me over 5 weeks to finally make an appointment with Pete to take a look at the Lexus UX 300H. I loved it! During the entire "sale" time, I felt very comfortable ... Of course, I know he was interested in selling the car, but I can honestly say, he was just as interested in truly satisfying my wants and making certain he responded to all my questions. If they were important to me .... and they were ... they were important to him. The process went smoothly with no stress and no drama. He was exceptional taking so much time with me making sure I was happy and chose the car and color I wanted. Yep, I bought the car a 2025 Lexus UX 300H I was right in going back to Pete ... happy the first time and certainly happy this time. Will I recommend Pete Posterino and Lexus of Rt 10 again and again, you bet I will! Thank you, Lexus of Rt 10 ... thank you Tom Maoli for your wonderful staff who do treat customers like celebrities. And to Peter Posterino, thank you for all your help, your untiring time and patience, your humor and most of all your honesty. Certainly, I will recommend you to family and friends. Thanks Pete.

Excellent customer service, my car was ready when promised it was clean. The waiting area was inviting and loaded with coffee, bagels and candy. I totally recommended.

Funny thing… my Uber driver picked me up in a Lexus that

Funny thing… my Uber driver picked me up in a Lexus that he purchased from Lexus Route 10. He had fantastic comments about the dealership and its service. He had many cars in his life, and worked with another Lexus dealer in the area — though Lexus of Route 10 is further, he drives the extra 40 miles or so for the superior service. As for my experience, I very much agree, and highly recommend Anthony Vassallo as your sale rep! He is clear, thorough, and supportive in the process which is 90% of the challenge in buying a car. The support and management teams are also good. Come in with your own clarity and knowledge, and seek a win-win, and you’ll too enjoy this dealership.

This was my first experience at Lexus route 10.

This was my first experience at Lexus route 10. I found everyone to be pleasant and helpful. Aden was my salesperson and he was knowledgeable and patient. After going for a test drive I left and shopped around. I came back to Route 10 and Aden made good on all that he promised. I have been with Lexus for almost 20 years and found Route 10 to be reliable place to shop.

I can’t thank this dealership enough for the wonderful service when I brought my car in. Joe Curcio was my go to person and he is absolutely amazing. So pleasant, helpful, and spent time explaining the process. He is definitely an asset to your dealership. I look forward to my return when my car needs service!

I just leased a Lexus RZ and I want to say that the

I just leased a Lexus RZ and I want to say that the Salesman Michael Lioi was excellent. He was very helpful and patient in explaining the details about the RZ especially since I have never leased an electric car before. I gave him 5 stars based on his knowledge and ease in dealing with him. Also, the tech Noah was excellent as well as he explained all of the options on the new Lexus RZ. Fantastic experience.

WARNING!

WARNING!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY EXTENDED WARRANTY HERE, THEY WILL TRY TO FIND ANY EXCUSE TO NOT COVER THE REPAIRS!!!! If it isn't pre owned while still in the original warranty period or isn't certified pre owned don't waste your money. My wife and I recently purchased two pre owned vehicles from Lexus of Route 10. They were purchased about 2-3 weeks apart in January and February of this year. The first was my 2013 LX570 which I know is known to be a very reliable suv even at this age. At the time of purchase we chose to buy the extended warranty just to be safe & feel more confident in our decision to buy a vehicle that old for almost 30k. The second was a 2014 LS460 for my wife which is the same model she previously lost in an accident for another 25k. Low and behold it was time for me to get my 1st minor service and I had a few issues that were bothering me so I decided to take it in for service and have the repairs done under warranty. I had three issues with the truck first, the remote start stopped working which was a factory installed item and even though there's window decals on both front doors and under the hood stating that and I have the original window sticker showing it was a factory installed option I was later questioned by Nick in the service department about who installed it. At that point I knew there was going to be a problem with things not being covered under a " bumper to bumper" warranty policy that I paid several thousands of dollars for just to have peace of mind, or so I thought. The other two problems were the "cool box" in the center console (which is one of the known luxuries of the LX570) stopped working. Then there was the driver's seat cooling feature making a very loud noise and causing the seat to vibrate while using it. I received a call the next day after dropping the truck off and I was told that nothing that I brought it in for is covered by the extended warranty I paid for and if I wanted to get the three items fixed it would be well over 5 thousand dollars which is just around what I paid for the warranty. The only reason we chose to go back to Lexus of Route 10 is because we purchased a LS460 in 2017 ( which was totaled in late 2024 in a motor vehicle accident) there and never had any issues so even though it's an hour out of our way we decided to remain loyal customers and return there and like I said in the beginning to buy not one but two more vehicles even though we were only looking for one. I'm done conducting any business here and will find a much closer dealership and build a relationship with them. You can check my other reviews for this dealership here on yelp from all three of our purchases and you'll see that this is the first negative review I've left for this dealership.
