Unreliable
I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership in May and have had issues at nearly every step in the process. To preface, I had no issues with the saleswoman I worked with, she was very helpful. However, it seems there are a ton of other issues in terms of management and the maintenance department. The moment I drove off the lot the check engine light came on. I immediately took it back and was told their mechanics could look at it the next day. I'm from out of the area so I had to book a hotel for the night. The next day I was told there could be a faulty sensor but mechanically everything else with the car was fine. A few days later the light came back on and I took the vehicle to a registered Subaru dealership. They explained that it was not a faulty sensor and that the camshaft did in fact need to be replaced. This issue was never disclosed to me at the dealership. Now I am waiting on the new plates and title. The temporary plate and registration expired over a month ago and DCH Acura has shown zero interest in getting me back to me on what the hold up is. From what I've read on their BBB profile this seems to be a common occurrence. I understand NJ is not a title holding state but there seems to be no concern with communicating what that means with the customer. I called and emailed multiple times with zero response and am often forwarded to a voicemail of an employee who apparently does not even work there anymore. I would under no circumstances recommend this dealership or trust their services again

$3200 in hidden fees
They charged me an 800$ dealer fee, a 400$ fee for nitrogen that they put in your tires without your request, 400$ for Perma insurance (a warranty for car paint) that I couldn't opt out of and a 400$ fee for window etching which is also something that I couldn't opt out of. They were 100% trying to take advantage of me because I'm a young black women. 800$ as a dealer document fee is just absurd. I should have taken a picture of the sheet because they had a few more that I can't remember. In total it was $3200. I offered to pay cash but they would not take out the unnecessary fees. Car dealerships are always trying to take advantage of black young women. Please beware.
