2021 Car Buying Experience at DCH Paramus Honda wi

We already knew the vehicle (2021 Honda Ridgeline) we were interested before coming in to DCH Paramus Honda by looking at their website. So we made a decision to check it out in person without making an appointment. By chance, we were welcomed by Hamad Deeb as we were walking in. Hamad was hospitable and very accommodating. He went out of his way in letting us check and experience some of the features of the 2021 Honda Ridgeline without making us feel rushed. Even though having done some some research and got familiarized with most of the features, Hamad still able to show and share with us features that we did not know (i.e. ability to open all four windows after auto start before even getting into the vehicle and truck bed speakers). Although, we came to like the vehicle more after our in-person visit, Hamad tried to make us commit, as his job as a Salesperson, we were not pressured. Instead, Hamad listened, thanked us for our time, handed us a business card, and noted to call him for any questions. Then went our separate ways. After thinking it over, we decided to pull the trigger on the Ridgeline and reached out to Hamad. The buying experience included business as usual processes just like any other dealerships (i.e. applications, credit checks, negotiations, etc). The interactions were professional and friendly. Hamada listened to our objectives and made all the efforts to ensure they are met. At the end, we won some and lost some of our asks. Overall though, we came to a good spot. In summary, the car buying experience with DCH Paramus Honda was stress-free. This was attributable to their clean and modern facility, including social distance and mask protocols as we are in COVID-19 environment. Most important to note though, we experienced a positive car buying process primarily due to the professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, and patient afforded to us by our salesperson, Hamad Deeb. Thank you!

I am leaving this review at any site I can think of as well as writing to the BBB, because I believe this dealership has unethical selling practices and people should be warned about them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Here is my story: I was in the market for a CR-V Hybrid Ex (MSRP 31,785). Besides being incredibly rude, arrogant and obnoxious they are unethical. They wanted to charge me $36,000 for the car plus bunch of fees that brought the price I was given at the table to $41,800. This included bunch of bogus fees. This is so incredibly out of the realm of doing business that I am reporting them to anyplace I can think of. Yesterday, I went to a different dealership that has ethical selling practices and bought the car at the walk out price of $34,600. It's the same car they wanted me to pay at $41K at DCH Honda at Paramus. They even told me: "The cars are at a premium right now and we can charge as much over MSRP as we want". When I asked them to give me a serious offer the second guy looked into my eyes and said "This IS a serious offer". Omar Corana was the first guy that talked to me. He clearly did not want to sell an EX. He lied about having it in stock. He showed me the higher trims. When I finally gave him a VIN number I had taken from their website as available he conceded that they had the car in EX but then gave me the quote for $41K. How is this place allowed to conduct business in this manner I do not know. As I said, I also reported to BBB. Just go to a different dealership. At the end, I had to drive approximately 40 miles to get to an ethical dealership but the experience was well worth it. See my other reviews for an excellent Honda Dealership.

Best experience with a dealer so far

Dealership is very clean and roomy. Staff greeted you at the door and offered refreshments as we waited for our sales man. Alex Bernabe was our Client Advisor. He explained everything about the 2021 Honda Pilot SE that we came to see. Alex made it happen for us at a comfortable selling price and monthly payments. He made the deal happen. It was not an experience that we expected. It was an extraordinarily excellent experience with Paramus Honda and Alex and the rest of the staff. I have been a Subaru guy but i think i am going to go to Paramus Honda first the next time we are in the market for a new vehicle.
