Leased a Honda HRV 2018
My family and me have been customers of DCH Honda for about 17 years now. We have leased and bought many cars here, and have always received the HIGHEST level of customer service. Our dealer is Alex Bernabe, he is always kind, pleasant, knowledgeable and has a smile on his face. He always takes his time to explain everything, answer any questions we have and genuinely looks out for our best interests. It is a pleasure leasing and buying Hondas off of Alex. I have been to other Honda dealerships for service and not received the level of quality service that I have had at DCH Honda Paramus. Alex is wonderful and we definitely trust him and are always 100% satisfied with the cars we have leased or bought from him. Purchased Certified Accord Sport
Our salesman Daniel Bacerra was courteous and professional throughout our entire visit. A couple weeks later, I had to return to receive my registration, plates, and have a new key made. My first experience at the service center was very positive. Prior to my arrival the appointment was confirmed online and I was given quick and professional service. A pleasant experience overall.

Premium service from start to finish.
Our experience at DCH Paramus was excellent. We were able to get an terrific car at a fair price. They also went what I considered above and beyond with their efforts to help me turn in my leased Hyundai. Top notch, premium service all around.

Long wait time
The sales department was not organized. I waited long periods of time and had to submit the same documents, drivers license, Costco card, several times during my three visits. When I went to pay for the car, the finance department needed the same information and questioned why my deposit was an uneven amount. I told them that the sales person instructed me to leave a 10% deposit on the vehicle. Picking up the car took a couple of hours even though I was paying cash and had made an appointment prior to coming. I would suggest that the customer's information is collected once and folder is made with the information that other departments and the same sales person doesn't ask for the same documents over again. I wish there was a "maybe" recommendation because I was happy with the car and there were several nice people that assisted me with my registration and a need to go to the service department shortly after purchasing the vehicle. The service department experience exceeded my expectations.

Make sure you do your homework first
Some of the people here can be really pushy if they feel like they can take advantage of you. My experience with Kadir, the salesman assigned to me, was really unpleasant. He wasn't particularly knowledgeable about the various Honda models (Fit vs. Civic) and even gave me the wrong answer when I asked him about the size difference between the two! (The Civic is over a foot longer than the Fit, even though he told me that they were only 3-4" different in length. This was obviously wrong when I went to go look at the cars and then looked it up online myself.) And then, when we were out in the lot looking at the inventory, he didn't even seem to know what was in stock. He showed me 2 different Fits, but didn't even show me the 3rd one on the lot, which I found myself when we were walking around! He was generally quite unhelpful and I'm fairly certain he was even trying to just avoid me when I came back to the dealership around two weeks later to look into a service problem. Don't work with Kadir unless you like getting pushed around, ignored, and terrible customer service! Jerrod, in the finance department, wasn't exactly all that pleasant to work with either. He was very pushy and seemed to belittle me for not agreeing to the finance option that he proposed. Danny, part of the management team, was the only employee that I would work with again. I understand that sales people can be a little pushy, because they are trying to sell you something after all! However, you're still a customer and they should treat you with respect. Danny was pleasant and respectful and that's all one can ask for as a customer.
