Write a reviewService Dept so bad, Switch from Toyota 4ever
When you make an appt you usually think that is the time they will be getting you in, that is just appt time to Check you in- not your time for the service to be performed. Who would know that. Then they tried to scare me telling me that the car belt is worn and something bad could happen if I don't fix it immediately to the tune of $200 and the lic plate lite is out and police could pull you over. The price they quoted was so high and boy was I glad I declined the work. Brought to a local service person the $42 tax light cost me $2. The Belt that was worn and dangerous - I was told by the local mechanic that the belt showed a little grazing but no need at all to be alarmed and it can go longer. I only go to Morristown Toyota because I purchased the car from them and the incentive at that time was free oil changes for life - no longer offered, but last FREE oil change actually cost me over $600 because they stripped the screw and there was nothing I could do since it could not be driven without an oil pan so I had to pay for an entire new pan. I have no way of know if it really needed that or if they were just sick of giving me free oil changes but I'm sure I over paid on that also. I've given up with trying to reach a manager.

Terrible customer support
Made a deal to lease a RAV-4 and worked hard to meet dealer’s financial requirements for the $5k down while banks are closed. Five calls in 4 days to the finance department went unanswered. Sales rep hung up on us when we complained. Manager was of no help. Went to East Coast Toyota, got the same car, same terms and no hassles even without a personal visit. Picking up our car tomorrow in less than 24 hours.

Certified Pre-Owned Beware
Bought a CPO Rav4 and within 2,000 miles the brakes started making noises. Was told that they checked and wear had 5mm- 6mm remaining when sold to us. Less than 2,000 miles later was told that brakes were at 3mm and needed replacing. Called and they would not budge or try to offer any assistance with pricing on repair. I realize that this is a wear item, however at that rate of wear I will have to constantly replace the brakes.

Over and Above!
Ricky Loaknauth went over and above to help me get my rear door of my 2016 Rav 4 fixed. It was one month out of warranty and wouldn't lift even manually. He contacted corporate and went to bat for me. My late husband and I have only used Toyota of Morristown. Over the past 40 years we have owned 7 Toyotas and would only let this dealership service them.

FRAUD AND CHEAT
I am writing with regards to the 2014 Toyota Avalon Limited 4dr I purchased in New Jersey, USA on August 7, 2014. I took my car for service at Toyota of Morristown service center for oil change and fix the blower motor due to some noise coming out from dash area. I left my car overnight on Jan 22, 2020 and picked it up next night on Jan 23, 2020. Upon checking the car I noticed that the driver side rear door has big scratches. At first I thought its just salt marks but when I tried to clean it I see that it was not just salt marks but actually there was a dent and it was all scratched up. Before taking the car out of the service department I spoke to the service advisor and he verified the dents and scratch marks on the car. Next day - Jan 24, 2020 - This morning I called the dealer and spoke to the Service manager about the issue. Tom (Service manager / director) was extremely rude to me and was not ready to listen to me. He just picked up the call and denied of what happened. He kept telling me that I am lieing and this was not done at his dealership. He insisted that this scratches and dent was from something else which I might have not noticed and now I am trying to accuse them. But the fact is that there was nothing on it when I left the car for service and there were scratches and dents when I was to pick up. So it is clear that they were done at his dealership by someone working for him. For me I take care of my car extremely well. And I am really upset with the way this is being handled.

terrible experience after sale
We bought a car from this dealership almost two months ago. The sales people were delightful to work with and we remain appreciative. Unfortunately almost two months later, we have not received the car registration. Our temporary registration expired about a month ago. The person who is in charge of this has kept us in the dark about where she is in getting the registration, rarely answers an inquiry (phone or email), and never returns a voice message. In the only case she contacted us directly (January 7th), she wrote "HELLO I NEED YOUR CT ADDRESS TO OVERNIGHT YOU SOME PAPERWORK." We gave her our address but have not received anything yet today. As we called back to double check, she would hide again. Today, almost two months after we drove the car away from the dealership, we have no idea where they are in processing the registration of the car, are hopeless, and exhausted.

Terrible service
I used to go to Hudson Toyota to get my oil changed and have my 27 point inspection. They have always been honest with me and let me know if anything needed to be fixed on my car. I recently moved to Morristown and switched to getting my oil changed here instead. I expected the same great service, but that is not at all what I received. As part of the 27 point inspection, they should check my brakes. Not only did they not check my brakes, they lied on my paperwork and said they were “green” back in August. That was impossible because back in April, my brakes were “yellow” according to Hudson Toyota. In December, they did not bother checking them at all and that was when I found out my brake pads were completely gone and were grinding on my rotors. I called them to ask what happened and to speak with a manager. The manager never picked and never called me back after I left a message. If this is the type of service I receive after spending years changing my oil with Toyota, I am NEVER going back. Might as well go to an auto shop and get my oil changed there since it’s so much cheaper and they will check my brakes for free.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid this dealer at all costs. I bought a used 2016 Tacoma from them which was certified and this all happened within the warranty period. The truck had an after market remote starter on it which caused the airbag sensor and a sensor to the air conditioner to malfunction. Had my local dealer repair it, but they said it will happen again because of the after market starter that was in there. Long story shorter, when I contacted Toyota of Morristown, they would not return my calls. Finally spoke to a manger who forced the service manager to return my call. They agreed that they would take out the remote start, but not put a new one in even though it was on the car when I bought it. Tried to explain this to the self proclaimed "boss of the whole store", but he could not understand the concept then when you certify something, you certify the whole truck. Needless to say I will file with the BBB and also file a small court claim against them. Look at the other reviews here and on other sites. I wish I would have before I went there!!

Jose and Alvin are Scammers
This Dealership is a big scam I love Toyota but this dealership is a huge fraud. They gave me a $2,500 check which I am paying monthly I later found out, also I owe $6,000 on a previous Lease when they were suppose to take care of it. Not Cool I pay 500 for a regular Tacoma. Now I have to pay 1000 plus the 500 lease. Please Stay away.
