DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. You will wait days for simple repairs and have more problems leaving than what you went in with. They misplace parts when taking apart/putting your car together, causing you to have to go back. They charge ridiculous fees for labor but pay their employees very little. The manager stays up in his high tower, leaving the employees to fend for themselves. They overbook cars so the mechanics are working on several cars at once. The lack of attention to detail causes extremely long wait times and avoidable errors (48 hr for a simple oil change!). WORST automobile service I’ve ever had. You will lose money and gain problems by taking your car here. They should be put out of business for mistreatment of customers, employees and being total scam artists! I love my jeep and am so sad to say this place does not represent their brand well. You can tell the staff is drained from low pay and poor management. Terrible to see people being taken advantage of in so many ways. Save your money and go to a local mom&pop shop, where they have morals, care about their customers, their repeat business and pay their employees fair wages. You will be glad you did.

That's interesting. When I tried to speak with you before you told me I was "being crazy" and to "calm down". You never once tried to listen, apologize or correct errors. It seems this response is just a way to make yourself appear professional when in fact you are the complete opposite. Arrogance and a lack of taking responsibility is what you can expect from Brandon Smith. My car was not properly put back together, causing my battery to drain, leaving it dead for a week after getting it from this facility. I wish I had never gone to get my AC fixed because I ended up with 5 more issues! What you're doing is wrong. You're taking advantage of people, taking their money, and doing shoddy work. Thank god I found an honest mechanic to fix the mistakes that Salt Lake Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram caused. I have nothing to gain by leaving this review, other than to warn others to BEWARE. This facility will cause you financial, automotive and mental stress! Save yourself time, money, and stress by going elsewhere! And to Salt Lake Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, be better and do better. Kindness, acknowledgement and honest work can go a long way!

Great customer service.

Great customer service. they went above and beyond what was expected. Was able to get in quickly and the job was done ahead of schedule. They also provided an Uber at no charge to pick me up and take me to the dealer after service was done.

Great service

Polite, professional service. Not pushy and we’re well informed on products and options. Very responsive to calls and questions. Really impressed with having all paperwork prepped and ready when we purchased the car - was a very quick and easy process!

Good place to get service

Quaint shop and nice people, comfotable waiting room. Easy access to highway. The mechanic did not try to upsale on anything.

Excellent service

Prompt response and courteous service. The service person answered all my questions. In addition, he went out of his way to help me setup my home location in Siri so I could access it in the Jeep’s navigation system.

On April 22, 2021 the check engine light came on our RAM

On April 22, 2021 the check engine light came on our RAM 2500 diesel while puling our travel trailer out of town. Not only did the check engine light come on, but also the electronic throttle alert, collision aversion light and a host of unidentifiable lights and sounds while at the same time going into limp mode on the freeway. I dropped the truck off, and they cleared the code saying that they “flashed” the computer and they sent me on my way. In June 2021, the same thing happened, this time they did a software update and sent me on my way. In October, I dropped off the truck and once again, they said that I needed a “special” update. In February 2022, I brought it in and this time they said the update was another “special” update that was on a bulletin that should take care of the problem. Over a year of getting blown off. Fast forward to June 2022; I dropped my truck off for service and to address this same issue. I dropped the truck off on June 20, 2022. The truck was at the dealership until Friday June 24, when they claimed that they changed out the “APPS”. FIVE days at the dealership with minimal communication from the Mika!! When I drove the truck off the lot the idle was rough and I knew that the issue was not resolved. The next day, driving up Parleys Summit, I went into limp mode in high-speed traffic and almost was clipped by another vehicle. I went back to the dealership immediately because I knew that they were open and was greeted with an unsurprising, I don’t care attitude by Cameron, one of the service advisors. He did a lot of mansplaining as to why they could not solve this problem. He told me to return on Monday. On Monday morning Cameron checks me in but he can’t even remember that I talked to him on Saturday, face to face. He turns the paperwork over to Mika but I don’t hear from him the entire day. At 1745, 15 minutes before closing that day, Mika called to tell me that they could not find the problem. He said that the technician wanted to take it up Parleys Canyon to see if he could replicate the problem and would I give him permission. At this point the truck had been at the dealership all day Monday without a single phone call. I gave him my permission because I wanted to resolve this problem. On Tuesday, I start calling the dealership at 1400; I was told that Mika was with another customer or that he was away from his desk, he was never available to take my call. After multiple attempts to reach him and not a single call back, I decided that I would pick up the truck. Upon arriving at the dealership at 1730, I find that Mika’s desk is cleaned up and the computer is off. Apparently, he had gone home for the day, without returning a single phone call. I walk over to Cameron and I tell him that I was there to pick up my truck. He looks through his paperwork and realizes that he is not my service advisor. He can’t find my truck, so he calls the technician. The technician tells him that he had been unable to take the truck of Parleys today because there was too much traffic, so he had planned to do it on Wednesday morning. In the meantime, I am without a vehicle. When I got in the truck, I knew right away that the vehicles had been parked for two days and no one had done anything. The odometer had not changed from the day that I had dropped it off. As I was leaving the dealership and turn onto the onramp for I80, the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and the truck went into limp mode. I didn’t have to try very hard to replicate the issue, yards away from the dealership’s door. And since I have been relegated to carrying around a code reader for the last 18 months to prove to the shop that the vehicle has a problem, here they are. Don’t buy a truck from this place and don’t take it in for service, particularly if you are a female. I gave it one star because I had to, but really it does not deserve even one.
