I recently bought a ford F150 from ALM Mall of Georgia and i have to say that i am very pleased with the whole experience. This was my first time buying a used truck and to my surprise it was easy and fun! I had a trade for which i got the highest value from them after having it appraised at several dealerships. They were able to get me a very good rate for my financing too specially when i had very little to put for my down payment. Overall, Great experience with a vast variety of options. they really have a lot of cars to chose from. my sales person (Kervin) was great and i thought leaving this review for him would be a nice way to say thanks for his great customer service. Good Job Kervin!

Good Facilities, But...
The purchasing process was OK, & Steve, our salesman worked hard to be sure we were satisfied. The "but" relates to the tail end of the sale. The truck's tailgate had been stolen from the lot several days before I first looked at this vehicle. ALM made good on their promise to get & install a new one. BUT, the first glitch occurred when it arrived a week later. Somehow it was overlooked & sat, still needing to be repainted to match the truck's color. To be fair, the ALM Sales Manager owned up to the oversight & helped expedite the reprinting (they use an offsite paint shop not part of ALM. When the newly-painted tailgate got back to ALM, the sales staffed installed it in under 60 seconds. I then encounter two relatively minor glitches: the backup camer was not installed & the tailgate latch had some overspray on it. ALM did get the backup camera installed very quickly. I decided the overspray was not their fault & chose not to mention it. That said, I then tried to lock the tailgate & discovered I could not, as the tailgate had not been rekeyed to the truck's key. ALM said give them a day & they would set up an appointment with the locksmith they used. Since then, a week has passed with no call from ALM. I have placed at least a dozen calls to them to no effect. This lack of customer service at the back end of the purchasing process is unacceptable & reflects poorly on the integrity of ALM.

Good Buying Experience, But...
I'd go with an overall five-star rating if ALM had not chosen to cut off written or verbal communications with me. All I have been asking for is an appointment with a locksmith to meet with me to rekeyed the new tailgate ALM installed on a Ford F-350 I purchased on 6-01-2015. I've remained polite & cooperative throughout the sales & follow-on processes. What must I do to receive an answer from ALM? I'd be happy to recommend this dealership if they would follow-up on this last promise.
