This is the true meaning of the word 'Stealership'. The stereotypical used car dealership you hear nightmare stories about. Noticed they were selling a car I was interested but for $4k over market value. Has an accident history AND they shockingly admit it can't pass emissions. Really surprised they even admitted that but I guess it would be pretty obvious since the car has no exhaust and extensive modifications. Thought maybe I could negotiate down in price since the vast majority of buyers who are desperate enough to buy from here aren't going to give a car like this a second look (or want a project car). Wrong. Instead they actually RAISED the price of the car by 2k! For what they're asking, along with all their dealer fees, I could just buy a brand new 2024 model. I have to wonder how they stay in business. Probably by buying bank repos and auto auctioned cars that more reputable dealerships would never sell on their lots.

We searched a long time for a car and when we found action auto we stopped looking elsewhere. They had the best selection and prices for clean titled cars in the state. They were also a pleasure to work with.

They were very helpful and flexible with my busy schedule. There was a bug power outage when we were signing papers and they did great accommodating us and transferring locations to get us out of there as quickly as possible! Will definitely go back!

It's been awhile since I purchase a car from a dealer. It was great not an adventure that I would have dread. The staff was friendly and lively. Steena made me feel comfortable from start to finished. Regarding Dillon he was able to work with me to make the sale possible. I do appreciate it.

Would not recommend purchasing a car here. High doc fees ($750+), sketchy vehicle history, and zero respect for customers time. The justification for the high fee is supposedly the inspection and quality control of vehicles. Yet somehow mine passed being wildly out of alignment, so I was told the car would be aligned asap. I ended up purchasing before this was done, so I had to drive down to the affiliated tire shop and put it on Action Autos “tab” because no one at the dealership would schedule it for me. (From reading other reviews seems like common practice for this dealership to sell cars with issues, provide a verbal commitment to fix them and then never follow through) Then I took it to the Subaru dealership the other day and they informed me that the vehicle had been in a body shop for a collision in the rear, even though on Action Auto’s website and cargurus it had zero reported accidents. So some sensors aren’t working, it has to go back in for a week, and they referred to my car as the “problem child”. The final straw was today when a month after purchasing the vehicle they inform me that there is no emissions data for the vehicle so I have to go get a test and forward them the info to get my license plates. Dealers in Utah are supposed to complete this testing before selling vehicles. I went to go get the test done today and it could not be completed because the oxygen and evaporation sensors aren’t working. Now i’m very concerned about this vehicle and it’s history. Not to mention the fact that they make you wait hours to complete the sale process. Sad to say but, I regret purchasing a vehicle from Action Auto Utah.

Great group of people. We appreciate their no haggle policy. We felt like they wanted us to find the right car for our family, we didn’t feel any pressure to buy anything. Will go here again in the future.
