They deserve a -5 and beware of this place. I can't speak for sales since I didn't buy a car, but there service is the most dishonest place I've ever seen and I write for a chevy magazine and have been a Chevy guy all my life until this place. Long story short I took my rare Chevrolet Camaro (#250 of 1000 made) bought to dedicate it to my mom who was brutally murdered. I took it in to just see what a tick in the was. The car ran fine but started hard. After over a month of getting no where they started talking about replacing the motor. I explained that wasn't needed. First the matching number motor wouldn't be coming out ever. Second, the motor was going to a engine specialist so he'd fix it when he got it (One of thr best in the country), and third it was a hand made motor amd mo way they crate those. I said the only way I'd consider it is of I got the old block so I still had the block with matching numbers. they said they would get back to me and then assured me I could have it back since there was no core charge. I asked him to double-check on that because the only way I would do this is if I got the old motor block. they called back and assured me so I said let's go ahead. They had the car for another 3 weeks, and when I picked it up they said they didn't know anything about the core yet but they would get back to me. after weeks they never return to call and I slowly had to start calling people like Chevy and after Chevy calling an attorney. they lowered the value of my rare car and they distorted a car that was made to be special and a remind me of how special my mother was and they destroyed that feeling from that car. The entire time I talked to them they didn't seem to understand any of this and had zero remorse for taking the motor out and replacing it with a new one. this is simply because they know nothing about cars and car culture. I turned it down a $40,000 motor and for my car to be used in a special car show because I did not want the motor changed or the numbers to not match any car person knows you don't replace a motor on a rare car, you rebuild it. the Chevy dealership told me they could not rebuild an LS7 Chevy motor even though it's one of the most commonly rebuilt motors in the country. this all being said I've tried to come up and offered a couple easy ways to fix this they have not returned or even cared to talk to me to fix this issue. so I guess it will be going to court but don't ever bring a car that means anything to you to this place. They will destroy your entire feelings about a car you bought special for somebody that was taken from you. That is the dirtiest business deal I think I've ever seen or heard of.

Dont trust bergstrom

Put money down on a used truck to hold it. They in turn sold it out from under me. Breach of contract, as I had put money down on it. They are as crooked as the day is long.

Horrible New Truck Experience

My husband picked up new truck Friday, had to take it back in for repairs on Monday. It is now Wednesday evening, and it is still sitting in the shop.

Jose in CHEVY service is amazing

Never in my over 30 years of getting auto service have I encountered such an honest, hard-working, and friendly service writer as Jose. He’s great at relationships and not only remembers my vehicle, but knows my name on sight and goes out of his way to make me happy. This guy is a total rockstar and if he ever leaves Bergstrom Chevrolet of MIDDLETON, I’m following him because he has created a customer for life.

car shopping

A little disappointed that the car I was looking at online for wasn’t what was on the lot. I searched for sunroof and The Malibu came up along with backup camera. Well when we got there to look at the car it had NONE of those options and it was listed with the same price and car #. Makes me a little upset as it was a waste of my time

They cleaned my truck! Its was a treat!

I had a oil change at Bergstrom Chevrolet in Middleton. The service was excellent, quick, and done well. My truck was vaccumed and washed!!! It was nice. I will return again and tell all my family and friends!!

Service Department

Tony was my service writer today and did a fantastic job on my 2016 Camaro. In for new tires and four wheel alignment.Tony was very helpful , the car was in and out as promised. Lured in for a deal that wasn't there, time wasted

Skip this place. I got lured in here for what equates to a bait and switch. This starts with a call into a salesperson I worked with in the past at the Madison location. I called on Thursday about a car on the Middleton lot. John in Madison said he would have it moved over to Madison and scheduled a time for me to come in on Friday. I showed up on time and he "didn't have a chance to get that car over here." Having not driven this model before, I figured no big deal, I'll take the test drive and make sure it's the one - it was. When we went into to talk about the car I wanted, it no longer showed up in their system. John said it must have been sold. I asked when it was sold, he said he didn't have that information. The sales manager didn't have it either! I called Middleton and guess what, the car is still in stock! I'm offered a test drive. I told her I'd be over soon to check it out. I arrive at Middleton and ask about this particular car. I get a salesperson and he confirms it is in stock. When he goes to get the keys he finds out the car was transferred to Madison that morning and they sold it. I explain I was just at Madison and they have no record of that car. The story changes again. Now it's an inventory mistake, that vehicle was sold "a long while ago". But! They have plenty of others with the same features. They're only $4,000 MORE! This car remains listed on their website and here with another $1,000 off what it was yesterday. I guess they aren't in a hurry to correct this "mistake". What a waste of time.
