Cars are not inspected by Zone Motors and come from auctions. Ray is set on prices which is fine, but not honest about vehicles and their problems (which the try and hide and don't fully disclose). Run away!

Wish inventory was in different hands
Went to go see a vehicle for a test drive. My first impression of the lot was noticing how cluttered and tight it was. Not a ton of parking areas upon arriving. The car was not ready for a test drive either. Was put behind other cars that needed to be pulled out to drive out. But we never got the chance to be able to even sit in the driver's seat as we began speaking about numbers. Was unprofessional in language and didn't take me seriously as a buyer even though I had the title in hand for my trade-in. They were unable to budge in price and kept saying they did not want my vehicle as a trade-in and didn't want it on their lot to sell (even though the car was completely paid off and had over $20,000 in equity for trade-in on my end, not to mention, they state they accept trade-in's). Was never given a chance to turn the car on to help consider purchasing the car at the listed price. Bought a car elsewhere and would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Just as another comment on here documented, prices are set due to auction prices they paid. According to the vehicle I wanted to see, they were losing money if I purchased it at the listed price anyway. No thanks!

Don't believe the pictures
The salesman was great to deal with the owner was not. They doctor their pictures up, the truck looked like a golf ball in person. They set their prices based on mecum auction prices but explained the damage is because it is a work truck. I found a cleaner diesel truck elsewhere for 8k less than their asking price.

They do not inspect their vehicles
They do not inspect their vehicles. We purchased a used 2013 Infiniti QX56 from them. As soon as my husband brought it home the key fab wouldn’t register. I couldn’t drive my kids to school the the next day without touching the fab to the push button. They claim they had no idea- even though they had the vehicle for 14 days. So I purchased a new battery for it. Then the tire sensor light went on. Now day 2. I then realized it had four different tires on. The locking lug nut missing on a few. Day 3- service engine soon light went on. took it to autozone to code it and it needed a new catalyst converter. We then had to drive it over an hour back to dealership to have them fix it. Yes they fixed it- but they lied about the timeline and who would be servicing it. I then went to purchase 4 all new tires since I was told how horrible it is to have different tires on an and vehicle for its suspension- it swayed horribly when I went over any bumps- and was told that all 4 tire sensors were removed/missing. Another $380 needed. This was THE worst used vehicle experience. I would NOT recommend.

Zone Motor's Chicago at 525 W Fullerton Ave, Addison, IL 60101, the experience was absolutely smooth and pleasant. The sales associate Ray and Joe were very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He explained everything about the vehicle that I didn’t see at other Mercedes dealers that I had test driven at. Not pushy, or aggressive selling but confident and gave us our space and let us make the decisions under no pressure. They gave us the time to decide and encouraged us to explore and research. I didn’t get this experience anywhere else. The buying experience was smooth and very nice and the sales person's Ray & Joe got us a good deal. This is a great place to buy a Mercedes. No high strung, bottom line aware aggressive pushers sales and service guys here. Just normal, knowledgeable, and regular people who know a lot about Mercedes. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how my interaction and sale went. We got the deal done and we were in and out quickly with a new car. Fantastic customer service. I highly recommend Zone Motor's Chicago and will be a loyal customer. Thank you Ray & Joe for such a welcoming experience.

Promises not delivered in sales process Ray is the owner of this small auto sales company. I purchased a 2003 BMW CI convertible that has a broken control arm. Ray assured me he would order the part and I could take the car and come back "any time" to have the control arm installed. Many months went by because I own a business and I am busy. I called over 4 months after I purchased the car. Ray "checked with the mechanic" and said, "if we had a part it was returned." I reminded him of his commitment to this sale and he said, "I cannot remember what I ate for lunch today, let alone what I said 4 months ago." He further stated, "How would he know I am not asking him to do something based on the wear of the car?" I said very simply, you can look at your part purchase history at the time I purchased this car and you will see that part purchased, for obvious reasons. Because of the way this conversation was going, I said I will write a review on this experience if this install is not taken care of. He said, "Go write your review." So here it is! And remember, this is the OWNER of this facility. Unfulfilled promises and poor attitude. I highly recommend crossing this dealership off your list.

STAY AWAY- Promises not delivered
Ray is the owner of this small auto sales company. I purchased a 2003 BMW CI convertible that has a broken control arm. Bad service
I got a text instead a call upon first contact, unlike every other dealership. When I started talking to the salesman on the phone (Ray) he didn’t want to talk on the phone at all. He was not very polite, I would have much rather talked to any other salesman. And I will not be doing business here.

Terrible transaction!!
Was looking for a good vehicle and asked the salesman was anything wrong with the car and he said nothing. TURNED OUT TO BE $10,000 WORTH OF NOTHING!!!!!! Bad valve seals, $4500, radio wasn’t working, (audio amplifier $1200) wrong tires on vehicle, a/c not working, along with other xxxx! Even took an EXCESSIVE amount of time to receive a title! THIS DEALERSHIP IS GARBAGE!!!
