2016 Jeep Cherokee Recall Service
My only recommendation for people taking their car in for service is to be aware of the difference between "dropping off" the car and "waiting" for the car to be serviced. Be prepared to not have your car all day if you choose the "drop-off" option.

Bad Experience
We brought in our Renegade for recall work. I received a free Inspection in the mail from the dealership, so I gave that to the girl in the service department. I told her there was a thump noise coming from the front right side. I asked if the mechanics could visually look at that area and to shake the components to see if anything is lose. When I picked up the car she said that the oil change guys did the recall work and don't know how to check other things. They only know how to update recall software and change oil. If I wanted them to check it, then I would need to make another appointment, bring the Jeep back and pay 90 something bucks for them to look at it. Then charge extra to fix it. This female either doesn't know what she is doing or is trying to get more money out of me. I'm pretty sure that the 100 point free inspection card I gave her would cover a mechanic visually looking at the under carriage and to shake and pull parts to make sure nothing is broken or lose.
