We we're in need of a new car. Badly. My fiance is 6'6 and a big guy so our problem has always been finding something he can fit into. Every curve ball that could have been thrown at Troy that day was thrown, and he still managed to get us into a new car. They all even stayed late to make sure we had it before we left. We had our nephew with us and he kept taking their snacks and taking over their TV and they all just loved him and gave him full reign. My mom was with us and she has a seizure disorder and I know several times we had to take a break and tend to mom and it never bothered them a bit. They worked with us in a way no one else did, which is amazing considering we went to some family members before we even tried Kia and their dealerships turned us down.

Be wary if you are elderly or uninformed!
My sweet 86 year old dad passed away in October. A few months before he passed he bought a new car from Larry Stovesand Kia In Carbondale, IL. It was a demo with just under 3000 miles on it. I told dad that he would get a great price since it was a demo. The owner’s son, Dan took care of us. Dad asked, What’s the total price? Dan replied, “don’t pay cash, leave your money in savings and draw interest!! The payments are interest free!!! Dad again said no but with much persuasion he agreed. Unfortunately neither one of us paid close attention to the paperwork before Dad signed. Sad to say, dad went home, put away his packet and neither one of us ever looked at the total price. You can guess the rest. Dad passed away and now I am paying off a demo car that had just under 3000 miles when purchased that he was charged FULL STICKER price on. He was also given $700 on his trade in which according to NADA was worth about $2000 (especially when taken against full sticker price!). We won’t even get into all the “add ons” which I did get partially refunded after it was prorated. YES, we have fought for months with Larry Stovesand Kia and their bottom line response is “we are here to sell cars!” Shame on me for not helping dad more that day but SHAME SHAME on LARRY STOVESAND KIA!!!!!! Please stay away from there or question EVERY MOVE they make!!!! Don’t misunderstand, I am NOT against making a profit, but I am very much against taking advantage of the elderly.
