Shady Dealer
Went to buy a pre owned vehicle and was given a price that was too high, the manager called me next day and said they agreed to my price, took off of work to drive 45 minutes to say it was a mistake. They kept calling me to come in again even after the car was sold. Very shady place.

Terrible
Can not get anyone to actually follow up as they have told me they will. The manager my fiance spoke to was rude and condescending and my sales person has not responded to me either.

This rating goes from a perfect to zero. Unfortunately, our salesman, Eli Daniel was very friendly and we got to trust him very much. We picked up the car, filled out the many pages of papers and after about 4 hours left. When we signed the papers, our heads were spinning. Because we trusted Eli, we didn't bother to read all of the fine print. Needless to say, there we a number of ad-on's we never chose and which Eli said were included, for free (i.e. Tire and Wheel protection which we were charged $399 for the first year!) Then there was some safety coverage we paid $400 or so for, which we would never have taken if we knew the price. We did select the extended warranty for about $1,750, for extension of 7-10th year, 100,000 miles. Oh, we were charge $300 for floor mats, a back mat and a net for the back (only $50.) We were never told of these not being included. After we got home, I had time to read the fine print. I did research and found all of these are cancelable, in the fine print. Of course, their response was "Well, you signed the papers." I bugged them for a couple of weeks, then went there and got my refunds. It's not good to up the price to a retired guy who has plenty of time on his hands and had 36 years of experience reviewing stuff for accuracy. Gee, I thought I found great dealerships, but they broke our trust, which some of us still believe. I will still trust everyone, until they break that trust. Read the fine print. Oh, by the way, there are plenty of dealers out there. Drive past this one!

Scam "VIP" oil change program. I tried to use my $11.95...
Scam "VIP" oil change program. I tried to use my $11.95 lifetime VIP oil change coupon and they wouldn't let me. They said there is a limit. This is the second car I've purchased from these people and this has NEVER been enforced or explained. Used to be a good dealer, now it's kind of scammy. I hope the extra $25 of service revenue was worth losing a customer.

Wish I would have found reviews prior to purchase
Traded in vehicle in 10/18 my finance company still has not received payoff for the trade in. The Finance Department has given me endless promises on when they are sending paperwork / payoff and my Finance company called to inquire about it and hey hung up twice and lied about it stating they didn’t know the process or what they hang up was since they did not do the paper work that girl was gone for the day. The Finance department stand together in their lies and will provide eel very trickery in the books not to deal appropriately in the dealings of auto finance. Do not trust the dealership. Stay far away !

Worst Experience Ever!!!!!!!!!!!
I would give no stars if I could. This was my worst car buying experience in 48 years. I have been negotiating online over the last two days to buy a Genesis. This morning we agreed on a price and they invited me out to test drive. I told them it would take me about 75 min to get to the dealer. Upon arrival, they said they couldn't find the keys. Then came over and told me the sold the car the day before me. I talked with them before I left and they said they would have the car ready for me. Turns out they were trying to sell me a car they didn't have. Next, they tried to sell me a car that was $1,900 more than the one I was there to buy. I looked Inat the car and it was dirty on the inside dash and doors and had a rubber window seal hanging from the back window. The Car was $26,900 and this is how they prep it for sale? In the end, I offered them $400 less than they wanted and they wouldn't come down. I shared my bewilderment as to how they would not come down one dollar when I had driven quite some time to buy a Genesis. Ultimately, they said sorry, it's full price or no deal. No Deal it is! I will never go to Patrick Hyundai again.

Buying a vehicle is a huge commitment and let's not get into the debt you get yourself into. You would hope that the customer service would balance out the stress but this dealership made buying a vehicle such a burden. They have horrible customer service. They only care about the sale and after that you're on your own. It is almost impossible to get a hold of the finance department. I have called and called and I just don't get anyone to call me back. I have been waiting on a refund of a large dollar amount and I can't even speak to anyone about it. Do yourself a favor and go to a different dealership!!!

Rude Sales Managers! Buyers Beware
Don’t waist your time here. I was on the market for a new Hyundai Santa Fe, and obviously Patrick pulled up in my searches. The price seemed to good to be true, but I figured what the hey! Well I was helped by a nice and polite salesman at first. Until I told him the price online is not what you are showing me as to what I can buy it for now! I said that I just wanted to keep looking, but first he said let me just get my sales manager to say hi and bye. Sure I said I’ll wait! I was introduced to SCOTT JUNE! First impressions sloppy, and very unprofessional to say the least! Then after speaking with him for less than 2 mins and after he realized I wasn’t buying today because of the price on line. That was now apparent that it was false advertisement! SCOTT JUNE began to raise his voice to me enough to where I felt very uncomfortable and other customers around me felt uncomfortable too. I had to end our lovely conversation abruptly and just walk away before I felt that I would have to physically defend myself. I mean who in the xxxx in their right mind would employ a person like that and let alone make him a sales manager! I think everyone involved in making that decision should be mentally evaluated. SCOTT JUNE began to follow me outside when I was clearly leaving due to his unprofessional confrontation with a potential customer. After experiencing that little temper tantrum by a so called “Sales Manager” I will be sure to never step foot in that place again!!! Also now that my cousin and sister are on the market for a new Hyundai they will soon know not to step foot in Patrick Hyundai either! So I hope whomever reads this at Patrick Hyundai is smart enough to recognize this level of unprofessionalism and yourselves a favor and the headaches and fire SCOTT JUNE. Because I can assure you that it just costed you at least 3 new car purchases! We did eventually end up finding a great Hyundai Dealership that was only about 15mins away in Palatine!! Now that dealership wasn’t rude to me in anyway shape or form and they have earned our business, or to put it anther way is SCOTT JUNE’S unprofessionalism, and vulgarity made that dealership earn our business just by being friendly and courteous! So take it from some real professionals over there in Palatine who know how to obviously control their tempers and act professional all the way through the sale!! Thanks for reading this!- Jim
