Complete lack of integrity
This is the first negative review I have ever written, but I had to issue a warning. I bought a used Toyota Highlander Hybrid which turned out to be a lemon. They concealed the fact that it had been owned by a smoker and within a few hours after driving, the smell coming through the ductwork permeated the interior. They had also serviced the A/C and charged me extra for working on it. Within a short time of running the air conditioner it no longer produced any cold air. I took it to a mechanic who stated that hybrid A/C systems are different than standard and a service tech that doesn't know what they are doing will end up causing the lines to leak freon and potentially ruin the compressor. That was evidently the case here. The management avoided me for days and finally agreed to pay a fraction of the repair cost. They lack honesty and integrity.

Unprofessional
We were in the process of buying one of their cars. Did the financial paperwork. We were ready to put down a deposit and they called to say they just sold it. We were working with them for days. Very Unprofessional. I wouldn’t trust them

I just want to say that everything went smooth and relatively quick once we decided to buy a vehicle. Shopping for a vehicle is so different than my previous experience. I’m impressed with the service we got during our purchase.

This place keeps screwing me
Blake the salesman was super cool every step of the way. I was looking at a used car the pictures looked good got out there and everything was cool besides I noticed the bumper cover clips broken on the passenger side.(bumper cover was only on 3/4 way since they were broken) and I just mentioned getting fixed and if they couldn’t fix it properly would they replace the bumper cover? Talking about it with the sales manager he seemed upset initially. He definitely wasn’t nice when it came to me asking if they would replace it if they couldn’t get it back on correctly. I got told “I’m not going to replace a bumper cover on a car with 80,000 miles” “we do this everyday and you don’t it will be fine” “we will get it fixed but not replaced”. He just came across with lots of attitude and I really didn’t appreciate it. So now I guess we will see how good their used car mechanic is🙃.. but again Blake was grade A! ***UPDATEEEEE.**** Took the car it today oct. 6th I drove 55minutes to get told they don’t have a rental car for me and sorry for the miscommunication… it was no miscommunication you guys just didn’t let me know… now I have to drive another hour home so thanks for wasting 2 hours of my time. And now I have to come back out another day so there goes 2 more hours!! And btw no compensation was offered for their mess up.I also have 2 kids and a full time job I have to work around all of this . Jeez good thing I didn’t have to take off work. To top it off the front passenger tire is going low every 4 days since I bought this xxxx headache. I honestly cannot wait for this nightmare to be over and never come back to this dealership ever again.but hey thanks for the reply 🙃 UPDATE AGAIN!!********* nobody ever rescheduled my appt good thing I called and was trying to make sure they had a rental this time (they didn’t) this place is a waste of space and makes my body shakes with anger and frustration anytime I talk about or need to talk with them.

Do not buy a used car from West End Lincoln! I would never send my worst enemy here! If you look at the reviews of used cars here, you will find a clear pattern of overlooking issues at inspection and not following up post-sale. You'd think they'd try to change something after so many bad reviews with used cars. We found a Mercedes that seemed like a good deal, we inquired about a few things and they followed up right away and approved us right away. We scheduled a test drive and liked everything, but was nervous about the finish because it was raining. The salesman said the car was buffed and detailed, this was a lie. When I washed the car, there were swirls and minor scratches everywhere and was definitely not buffed. The windshield also had 2 cracks that I didn't notice in the rain. 5 days after buying, the brakes started to groan in the morning. Called 3 times over 10 days and never got a call back. Brought it to Feldman because I don't want unsafe brakes. They said the brake booster and switch needed to be replaced, which made sense with the noise and how the brake system works. I call West End Lincoln 2 more times over the next week and get no response again. The next week (now 3 weeks of trying) after leaving a vm for the salesman I get a call back and sent videos of the noise and situation. They originally tell me to pound sand, the car was used. After 4 more calls and getting the sales manager, who has the worst customer service skills and having to go into Karen territory (which I hated) stating all of the issues and how this isn't what buy happy means, they agree to look at it. When they could finally schedule me, the tech gives me a bunch of attitude about taking it somewhere else for diagnosis (which I did because West End was ignoring me) and says Feldman doesn't know. They don't look at it the next day as promised, nobody answers or calls back in service. I finally get the service manager, who says they'll look at it the day after they promised. Mind you, I know exactly what is happening and so do they. He says they can't replicate the noise and clean the brake pedal linkage and reassemble. I don't know why they didn't just order the brake booster and replace. They had a diagnosis from the dealer and at least 4 videos of the noise happening everyday. It would cost them maybe $500 and a couple of hours for a tech, but apparently they need the money more than I do. He says to call if the noise comes back, I leave unsatisfied. Of course the noise comes back the next day and the day after and everyday since then. I never called back because I know I'll get another month of run around and will have to yell to get a response, which I hate doing. I think dealerships should stand by their cars, otherwise, why buy from a dealer for a higher price? Now I'm paying $1200 to replace the brake booster, $300 for a detail and who knows how much for the windshield which should have been taken care of by West End. Buy happy is a complete joke, they only care about squeezing every dollar of profit and don't care about customers, or their time and money. They will also lie right to you face without a second thought. Avoid this place like the plague.

Worked With Dave S. -Outstanding sales representative. The whole process was truly comfortable! I felt so comfortable that I never even look at the engine or under carriage. I know not a good idea. The vehicle was immpeccable condition, and the car fax also reveal itself in immpeccable order.

I have been to the service department for the usual oil changes, tire rotations, and other general maintenance. I have always had excellent service and the customer service staff go out of their way to be helpful.

Amazing Service
Words cannot describe how excited I am about my new MKZ, and I absolutely loved working with the people at West End Lincoln. I experienced top notch service from the moment I walked in to when I was driving home the most awesome car I've ever owned. Dave and Rob did a fantastic job making sure I 'bought happy' and we will definitely be back for our next vehicle when it comes time. I absolutely recommend this place!
