Contacting Service Department

I have a F-150 that had a recall for a software update to the OSS. After receiving the recall notice from Ford, I brought my vehicle to Salem Ford last Spring to obtain the update. I was told at the dealership that the software fix for my engine was not yet available and to check back in a few months. I called the service department 6 times in August to talk with a service representative, left messages to include with the service manager, and never received a call back. After a week, I drove to the dealership, found out the software fix was available and made an appointment. In November the same issue returned--truck would downshift into 1st gear without notice. I called to talk with service representatives, left messages and never received a return call. Again, I drove to the dealership to make an appointment. I then talked to the service representatives about returning phone calls to better serve their customers and was told that "we hear that a lot" and "IF YOU DON'T LIKE OUR SERVICE, YOU CAN ALWAYS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE." Not the answer I expected, and if you "hear it a lot" it must be a problem. I have had my vehicles serviced at Salem Ford often. The new facility is great and I have never had any issues with the service/work done once I'm in the door. I only wanted to point out a problem that should be easily fixed.

SAlem Ford service dept

3rd time I have been unimpressed by the service dept.,I don?t know if they need a new service manager or what!Once I get the part I am waiting for that?s defective,I will be finding a new service dept.for my personal truck and 6 ford trucks that are work vehicles.

2019 edge st

Amazing fast service. Got into our brand new ford edge st!! What an amazing experience. we were were in and out in under two hours. Our salesmen joe brown was awesome and helpful. Probably one of the best experiences of buying a car we have had yet.

It was fine. I do think it was a long wait, however it was or decision to wait. Also pretty expensive

Booked my appointment on line. When I arrived they had no record of my appointment. The service person was able to get the repair done on my truck. I was very pleased.
