My wife and I drove 2 hours because they happened to have cars we were both looking to drive home. Our salesman, John, was nice and seemed like he genuinely wanted to help us. During the process the sales manager, Jason, told us ?on his word? that he would write us a check for $250 if regardless of whether or not we purchased both cars. Needless to say we didn?t get both. After asking several times about the check prior to leaving, I was finally told the check would have to be mailed. Of course. It?s now been over a week since my purchase. After an email to my salesman and no reply, I?d say the check isn?t going to happy. The old bait and switch. Luckily I like the truck.

Josh is an excellent salesmen. New GM believes in Veterans and goes out of his way to help out all who served.

Very easy buying experience

Dealing with salesman Josh Bowen is a very good experience. He is knowledgeable and makes the purchasing experience move smoothly. Third vehicle we have purchased.

Wayne was fantastic, great steward for the service dept.

I was very happy with the personal treatment I received from Wayne, he was cordial and professional. I am however disappointed that on my 30,000 mile check up, work was done that I don't believe needed to be done. I did agree to have my tires aligned from the 30,000 mile checklist while I had my vehicle in to address a recall. When the analysis came back AFTER the work was completed, there were 2 points that were minimally off on the alignment and I was charged in full for the alignment. I would have expected a call just to inform me of the lack of severity, or the lack of urgency in completing the alignment and allow me to address my own level of risk in choosing to go ahead with the adjustment. I understand that I signed the paperwork prior to leaving the stop and that represents my go ahead... ethically however, I do feel very strongly that Salem Ford is and should be held responsible to educate and inform prior to the completion of work that is in the "not urgent" category and empower the customer to make a purchase decision based on fact.

Inspection Service

I made a phone appointment for an inspection, the process was quick and was happy to receive a reminder email too. When I arrived I drove right into the service area, I like that I did not have to get out, go in and check in and then go back and drive in. The technician spotted a screw in my tire and quickly repaired it, the whole appoint took less than 40 min. Very happy.

Salem Ford offered the best price on both my new vehicle and trade-in. It was literally "hassle free". The sales people were friendly and knowledgeable and the vehicle quickly. I will definitely go there for my future car needs.

Used F150 purchase

I bought a used F150 from this dealership. I was buying from out of state via phone, email and text. I worked with Josh Bowen once things got serious. Josh was very attentive and straightforward. He followed up on everything and is a great guy. I worked the deal with Armando the Finance Manager and both he and Josh made this a really comfortable transaction. Armando is honest, clear, and great to work with. These guys made this remote purchase go great, they had the truck ready when I got there and all the paperwork ready. I recommend these two guys to work with. The truck is exactly as Josh told it was and he went above and beyond doing video calls with me so I could see and ask questions about the vehicle.

As mentioned earlier never rec'd any information on my new vehicle. To add insult, went in for my first oil change, after being told at purchase "no appointment necessary was told 2-5 hour wait. If I wanted an appointment would be a week or so out. On my way to one of the many instant oil change places came across another Ford Dealer, Got my oil changed within an hour, (no appointment necessary).

2019 Ford Edge ST

Went to Salem Ford to buy my New Ford Edge, we are very close friends with Luis Guzman, one of the sales managers there. He is the main reason why we went there all the way from the North Shore. But we were pleasantly surprised with the New facility, attention to detail and the great help and personalized no pressure feeling from Greg DeLuca.
