Jaguar Englewood Is Not Doing Good Business
I’ve owned 3 Jaguars prior to this. My father has owned 5 and currently owns 3 Jaguar classics. I took my Jaguar to the Englewood, NJ Dealer because I was told they do good business and work. The first time I went was a great experience. Everything was covered under warranty, and they fixed all recalls. Free. Super quick service. This time around, however, my experience has been less than satisfactory. I dropped my car off and was charged roughly $360 dollars for a diagnostic that would not be rolled into the price of repairs. Then I was telephonically contacted and told if I wanted to do further diagnostic testing, it would cost me an additional $360, and that would also not be wrapped into the cost of repairs. Ten days, five phone calls later, I still don’t know what’s wrong with my car, and I am still without one because they could not could you provide me with a loaner. Not only is the diagnostic price highly inflated, but it also does not speak to the spirit of good business to not waive the diagnostic once I've decided to go forward with the repairs. To add insult to injury, you advised me I must pay an additional fee to receive an answer I already paid for once. It’s going on two weeks and I still have no news on my vehicle. I’ve left 2 messages that have yet to be addressed. Englewood Jaguar is not doing good business and is looking to charge customers ridiculous fees just to look into an issue. To look into any issue is $360 per issue and if they can’t find the issue within the first day an additional $360 is required. This price gauging and taking advantage of vulnerable customers.
