Most painless car buying experience i have ever had.

Most painless car buying experience i have ever had. My salesman, Dave, greeted me even before the dealership was officially open. He had a laid back attitude and didn't come off overbearing or high pressure. From beginning to end the process took less then 2 hrs including one of the best detail jobs I have seen. Will recommend to anyone looking for a preowned vehicle.

My experience here at Blasius started out fantastic,

My experience here at Blasius started out fantastic, however I faced many issues right after receiving the vehicle I purchased that could never allow me to go back, or recommend them to anyone I care about. When purchasing the car, the process was smooth and effortless. The car had a cracked windshield that had just happened, however I wanted to take the car same day so they allowed a discount for me to get the windshield replaced myself. Car was purchased that day and was ready for pickup in the evening. This is when the problems started. 1. After the pickup, I drove the car home and during the drive I seemed to notice a small clunking sound I hadn’t noticed on the test drive. The next day, I had my personal mechanic look at the car and diagnose it with a bad motor mount (see attached video of excessive engine movement). After reaching out to the dealer, they said they could not help me, and even accused me of doing something to the car to cause it. I could not believe the lack of integrity they showed towards me and that they would not help me get the car straightened out. I had only put 75 miles on the car at this point and had only had the car for 36 hrs. After many phone calls they refused to do anything. I am fortunate enough to have the skills to do the work myself and replaced the mount. I have attached pictures of the mount that came out. It is completely destroyed and has clearly been like this for a long time. I am very dissatisfied with how this went. 2. This car also supposedly went through a safety check, however when I did my own check for the basics, I found a flat spare tire, thank god I checked it before I needed it. I also complained about the tires seeming like they had low tread, they assured me they were good and claimed a tread depth of 7/32. I measured them myself to find them at 5/32, much less than their claim. 3. The dealer was nice enough to install my license plate, however they only secured it with one screw, so the first time I opened and closed the trunk, the plate tilted down and scratched my bumper! 4. Additionally, I was promised an interior detail before pickup which they did do, however they did a terrible job to say the least. In the attached pictures you can see how the steering wheel has grime on the back of it, the parking brake button is full of grime, the Audi emblem on the wheel has grime, and peanuts were found under the seat. This “detail” was not up to the standards I’d expect when spending as much on a car as I did for this one. Overall, I have to say I am quite disappointed that my experience was terrible only after buying the car, as that’s when you cannot go back and you’re stuck with the situation. Had the dealer owned up to the bad motor mount, I would have given them 5 stars. I fully understand things can be overlooked, but how you address the situation is everything. This motor mount was a safety issue that should have been caught before I even took the car. It left the car unable to properly drive, and it was blatantly obvious the car was like this when I received it due to the condition of the removed mount. I will not recommend them to anyone I know, AND I WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK. My brother was considering an Infiniti q50 from them but I steered him to another dealer which sold him a very nice problem free car, and they helped him nicely throughout the process. This will not be the first costumer they loose due to my experience. I hope management will consider this case to improve for other customers in the future. No one should go through what I had to go through with this car.

This is the worst car buying experience I've ever had.

This is the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I bought my 2019 Lexus 350 RX with 23,000 miles on it. It was delivered to me undetailed, in need of a brake job $1700.00, tires $985.00 on top of the money I had already spent on the car. At 23,000 miles it should never had needed new tires unless they were switched out at the dealership. No inspection had been done on this car considering I didn't drive it for the first three months I owned it. This dealership is a joke and I would NEVER recommend it to ANYONE looking to buy a safe and reliable car, your lucky if they even wash the cars before they deliver it. My sales person Dave Shehu was no better. Steer clear of this dealer.

This place is nothing but crooks and scammers.

This place is nothing but crooks and scammers. Bought a vehicle and antifreeze issues. Their "YOUTUBE MECHANIC" told me that the antifreeze wasnt mixing with the oil. Well when I told it to a mechanic he informed me that I need a new engine. And trying to talk to managers hes always in a meeting. They laid about the warranty stay away far away.

2019 Jeep Compass purchase

Edwin Ocasio was very professional and listened carefully to what I was looking to buy in a vehicle as well as my price range. As I test drove he answered all my questions in detail. After purchasing my Jeep Compass I noticed one issue that needed to be fixed. I brought vehicle in the next day & it was taken care of. Thank you Edwin for all your help. I I am very happy with my purchase.

Bad warranties

Bought 2 vehicles, both have issues which we were told the extended warranty would fix. One vehicle all repairs were denied. Many things are wrong with it. Second vehicle transmission just went, trying to get it fixed. Won't buy from these guys again!! Once we bought they couldn't give us the time of day :(

Very easy to work with

Edwin was great to work with from the beginning. He reached out shortly after I inquired about the car and scheduled a time the next day to take a test drive. They were able to complete the purchase that day so I could take the car home. Overall, both Edwin and their Finance department were easy to work with.

Stay away

Nah, this place is a joke. Bought a vehicle and once their factory warranty ran out by a 98 miles vehicle had no heat and was over heating. Now I have to take it to garage to get fixed. This place doesn't stand behind anything.

Dealership is trash.

Dealership is trash. Bought a car for my soon to be 16 yr old daughter. Car not serviced at all for presale. They whipped out codes to hopefully sell to a clown. Welp but then in foot. I hope I can post pictures on here of work they did to fix problems. * Bad Catalytic converter *Exhaust leak *Check engine light *Old Spark plugs *Dirty oil. Probably never changed. *No rear head rests driving off dealership property. They had them shipped to my house. *USB port. Not working. *Rear wiper not even close to touching rear window. Dave was our salesman. He just sells cars. I get it. But hack mechanic needs to be fired. I cannot believe this car left a Fitz Blasius dealership. Unacceptable.

Dealer response

Ryan, we value your feedback and assure you that we are committed to providing the best possible service to all of our customers. We offer no excuse and take full responsibility for our error concerning the check engine light. As you know, with preowned vehicles there may be a few issues that we need to address following our mandatory safety inspection. In this case, we completed the following prior to delivery of the vehicle: an oil change on July 17th, installation of a new catalytic converter, ordering new head rests, and replacing the USB port. The issue with spark plugs and rear wipers not being up to standard was an oversight on our part. Our level of service is generally considered exceptional, and it is our hope that you will give us another chance to regain your trust in the future.

Consumer response

Yup. And after new catalytic converter was put in. You put old O2 sensor back in. Then after catalytic converter the mid pipe has a exhaust leak. You wrapped it with exhaust wrap and tightened it with water pump clamps. The new pipe at auto parts store was 60$. You couldn't put a new one of those in? I Didi it myself. Thanks Once again if I could post pictures I would. Your hack head mechanic should be fired. You will never regain my trust or patronage at any of your 12 dealerships and I recommend no one ever buying for there. STAY FAR AWAY PLEASE PEOPLE. Go to Ingersoll. That will be my next dealership I purchase a car from. Good riddance.
