Incompetent Technicians

02/08/2021 In August 2020, there was a minor collision on the rear end which happened in a parking lot while reversing, the other car also reversing. With the help of insurance, the car got a new rear bumper. After around 3 weeks, I was driving and all of a sudden all the dashboard light came on and disappeared. This did not happen again until around 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago I started the car to go to work and 1st the TCS light came on with Car Skid Symbol and started blinking. After it went off. The engine light came on and later AT light. The TCS and Car Skid lights came blinking and went off 3 times. After this when I started driving, after 1 mile all the lights came on the dashboard and some lights were blinking and interestingly, the Tachometer and speedo meter needles were on zero, while driving and started showing the RPM and speed when all the lights disappeared except the engine light and AT light. After the AT light also disappeared but the engine light stayed on. I brought the car to Mazda dealership in Naperville. They told me that they have to do a diagnostic check and charged me around 110 dollars. They told me that it was the negative terminal of battery which was loose which was causing this CEL on. I took the car back home. Nothing happened. The next morning when I started the car the CEL again came on and all the others, which I described earlier, following I called Mazda dealer and they asked me to bring it back. This time they told me they checked and thought it was the driver side BSM module, which I never had any problem, and charged me another 110 dollras and told me that it was working fine. Then they advised me to do a scope test and charged me another 85 dollars. Nothing was diagnosed. They also drove my car some 125 miles but according to them this CEL never came on. After all this I took the car back home and the same CEL on again. Now the car is at the dealership. They told me this afternoon that the CEL didn't show up on dashboard.

Garbage

If there was a option for negative stars Napleton Mazda deserves -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Bought a used car there drove it 3 days… on the second day the gas tank straps broke and the gas tank dropped on I-88! So i fixed that… then the 3rd day it would not start! Brought it back to them only for them to tell me they cannot fix it because they cant figure out the problem! Also said they do not have wire diagrams for it!! You would think a professional mechanic would be able to Obtain wire diagrams! Lazy ??? Or just don’t care about their customers. So if you want to buy a very expensive paper weight this is the place to go!! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

If there was a option for negative stars Napleton Mazda deserves -⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Bought a used car there drove it 3 days… on the second day the gas tank straps broke and the gas tank dropped on I-88! Happy with my purchase

I recently purchased a car for my cousin from Napleton Mazda of Naperville. I looked through their online inventory and found exactly what I wanted. Salesman David made it happen, and I had the car I wanted the next day. I highly recommend this dealership.

I wanted to take a moment and leave a positive review even though I did not purchase here. Dan, Jeremy and Breanna in sales were all very polite, and made me (and our 3 year old, who loved being included!) feel welcomed in the dealer. I ended up not purchasing the car, but would not have hesitated if there was one available there that would have fit the bill. Thank you!

Horrible! Poor overdight of their used vehicles

They don't look over their used vehicles. Have it reviewed by your own mechanic before you purchase because they also wont take care of the repair when it is several days after purchase if it breaks down.

Very happy with my used car purchase today.

We found a a good car at a great price. Our salesman was polite and easy to work with and helpful, not pushy. Credit was smooth and efficient. Overall, I will be back next time I need a car.

Jeff and Julia in service were amazing!! Jeff was So friendly and so helpful. Had a lot of questions and every single one of them was answered. Very clean business. Everyone was wearing a mask and very respectful of the covid 19 guidelines! Coming back and telling all my friends to come here too!!
