Went to lease and finance a Crosstek and Forrester
Went to lease and finance a Crosstek and Forrester February 26th 2022. I knew which two vehicles I wanted and due to supply shortage etc. both were already gone. He offered me another Crosstek, not the color or model I wanted but I was willing to buy it. He offered me it for 3k over MSRP. I told him I have a car to trade in and let us see what the best price he can give me. Offered me 509 a month for 72 months which was insane, I did the math on auto loan calculator and there was an extra 2k that he couldn't explain where it came from. He told me my math was WRONG. I told him I understood this was a sellers market but I still would like to not pay that much extra. He said "I was wrong, it is not a sellers market". I said what the xxxx you talking about, you are the seller, he goes "oh yea right." So I said I need to know what best price he can give me and then I am going to go to Hicksville Subaru and compare, he said that is the best deal he could. I said okay, can you tell me how much I can get for the trade in, he said he would have to have someone look at the car first, but unless I am going to buy now from him, it would be a waste. I said I need to know how much you will give me so I can compare, but okay??? I left that place laughing, this guy doesn't want to sell me two vehicles obviously. Went to Mazda of Valley Stream same day and and got new CX30 Carbon edition all the bells and whistles for 5k left than his offer for Subaru Crosstek sport. Alex is a joke.

Service
My car had a history with some issues. Bought my car from Hassett suburu in Wantagh. Came in for service and said they couldn't resolved the issue but call corporate and gave me numbers. Corporate was nothing more than willing to solve the issues presented to them. They sent me to South Shore Subaru for the fix. Fast forward South Shore Subaru fixed everything. A year later for service and inspection back to Hassett and they were nothing but accommodating with some lingering issues. They went over my car with a fine tooth comb and even fixed issues that I did not even know existed. Great work from Hassett. Recommend Hassett or South Shore Subaru be your next car dealership

Rude and obnoxious
Went to look at a preowned Lincoln MKZ in platinum ceramic white.I didn’t like the color, it was too white. Tom the salesman said it was Pearl when showing it. I said, no, Lincoln has a white they call Pearl and this isn’t it. I mentioned I did like the other MKZ he had in red. While walking back to showroom to get info on red I asked if he had any Pearl white color cars because I wanted to see the actual color. He got irritated and said “I’m not going to argue with you, that was Pearl”. So, I headed out the door and bought one in blue 4 days later in Smithtown. A salesman telling a customer he doesn’t want to argue cause he’s the expert. Sure, I’m going to buy a car from him.

I bought a 2020 Subaru limited 2 years ago from them car...
I bought a 2020 Subaru limited 2 years ago from them car had no problems so I traded it in for a 2022 Subaru Touring I’m sorry I did drove 1 mile a way and it has brake problems brought it back after making an appointment and they give it back to me with the same problems brand new $42,000 car they are trying me for a remorseful buyer the only remorse I have is getting a bad car I love the white exterior and Java colored seats beautiful car these service people are jokers screwing with my car when I got the car back from them they left oil or some fluid on my arm rest this is how much they care about you after the sale find another place to buy from nobody now wants to service this car because they did first they tell me to take it back to them
