We had leased several cars from Hassett over the last

We had leased several cars from Hassett over the last decade, 2 ford and a Subaru. Most recently, we got a better deal on a 3 row (weve since had a third baby) from another dealer/manufacturer, so we did what was best for us. Tim Coppola, who we’ve never dealt with, clearly didn’t like that when we told him. First he told my husband the lease wasn’t paid off, when a third party had bought it out over a month prior. Then when we double checked and called back to let him know, he was extremely rude and nasty and hung up the phone on me. Going forward I won’t be recommending them to anyone; Jordan who used to work there was lovely but he’s no longer with them.

My wife Rosalee and I recently purchased a Lincoln Corsair from Hassett Lincoln in Wantagh. Our salesman was John Fanuzzi. John has the patience of a saint. He went over every detail of the car with us and made certain we felt comfortable with our purchase. We both felt that we were dealing with a close relative and not with a person desperate to make a sale. Hassett Lincoln has a gem in John and customers for life in us. Ralph, north Belmore, New York

Geico found them at fault what they did to the bottom of

Geico found them at fault what they did to the bottom of my car. I had a service scheduled for oil change and breaks. They are refusing my service and cancelled my appointment, due to investigation going on.

My 15th year of buying cars from Hassett.

My 15th year of buying cars from Hassett. The main reason is because of one excellent salesman by the name of John Fanuzzi. Buying a car from experience has always been a hassle of shopping and price chopping. John has gone out of his way to always be fair from the start and find and deliver exactly what I am looking for. He stays in contact thru the whole process and truly goes out of his way to assist and help you. There are very few still left in this business that offer what he does. If you want to buy a car from a true gentleman, and make your life easier. Give john a try. Thanks, you for the years of excellence. You are the only reason I keep going back for more.

I bought a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek in Jan.

I bought a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek in Jan. The brakes started squeaking a month later and I brought it in for service. They claimed they shaved the rotors but the squeaking persisted. I recorded the sound of the squeaking and made another appointment. A mechanic heard the squeaking and stated it sounded like the "brake booster." So another appointment was made to fix it and they gave me a loaner car. Six days later they tell me the part won't be available until Aug. Apparently no other dealer on LI has the needed part. This is so unacceptable customer service. I can get it in 2 days from Amazon!

This dealership is great.

This dealership is great. The people are friendly and my salesperson John Fanuzzi was helpful, knowledgeable, patient and truly cares for his customer. I'm 79 and have purchased or leased many vehicles but this dealership is fantastic due to the commitment and dedication of people like John. No pressure was supplied and he worked with me to find a car deal that I was comfortable with. After the transaction, John explained in detail the operation of the car controls and apps and took his time to demonstrate the car functions. Unbelievable the time he spent to make my happy. Kudos to John-you are a tremendous asset to Hassett.
