2020 Mini Cooper Oxford Edition

Wayne Luberecke, service advisor, of Mini of Towson, of his very humble demeanor, polite reception of me has given me so much confidence and comfort when I went to have my 2020 Mini Cooper service maintenance. He has made me feel at ease knowing that the service maintenance will be done right. Allen also with his knowledge of the mechanics of the service maintenance plan, recommended that I purchase the plan to get me covered until the date of the expiration of the original warranty. That was really very helpful as I saved money not only for the service done on March 4, but also for the coming months. I was also informed that I could purchase a warranty for a period of time that could cover future services and maintenance issues. Both Wayne and Allen very helpful advisors of Mini of Towson.

Service Experience

We purchased our Mini from a different dealer as we bought it used. They needed to have some repairs done and sent us to Mini of Towson, where Alan was amazing and kept us in the loop of the whole process the best he could. I highly recommend Mini of Towson and we will be going to them to purchase our next Mini when the time comes.

Power Steering Hose Replacement

My power steering pump was replaced under recall and shortly after I had a leak under my car after driving it. I took it in and they said the hose split and it was leaking. I ask why the hose wasn?t checked during the recall and they said they only replace parts that are recalled and don?t she?ll for other issues. They said because of the age of the mini the hose could split and they don?t check that. They just leave the old hose and connect them to the new part. They couldn?t tell me if the hose split because of age or because it was taken off of the old pump and connected it to the new. I never saw the old hose so I don?t know what was actually replaced. They didn?t disclose pricing at drop off for a diagnostics fee and added that into the final repair cost. Places I have used previously always included that in the repair cost and I spoke with a service manager and he waived the diag fee I and got the mini repaired - labor plus parts. Seemed a bit high but I needed the work done so I could drive the car.

Mini of Towson

I purchased a previously owned Mini from another dealership. It initially did not pass inspection which led to communication with the dealership. I had the car for less than 3 weeks and one morning it would not start. After attempting to jump start it, it still would not start. It was legally parked on the street, and someone hit it. I wanted a thorough diagnostic evaluation and had it towed to Mini of Towson. The process took longer than I anticipated but their evaluation was thorough and very helpful. The service technician was unable to be certain why the car would not start as it was starting in the shop. He speculated on the issue given his going over the car. He also found numerous other issues which the dealership from which I bought the car did not mention. The conversation I had with the service tech was focused on what was in my best interest and not what would bring the most money into their shop.

Good Service

Really awesome place. I had received excellent customer service upon my arrival I loved it. They also are the only TRIPLE AAA Mini Shop in the area.

Routine oil change.

In for an oil change. Also had the cabin filter and key fob battery replaced. Great customer service; love the video from the guys about my car. Only complaint is the cost of the oil change? $160!!! I expected an increase with the state of national economics but that?s high!

$450 for oil change & filter

I can't believe I actually paid $450 for a standard oil change w/filter. Add $49 for tire rotation. I'll never go back - this is downright fraudulent pricing
