Peace out Equinox

Great dealership. Got us into the vehicle for close to what we wanted to pay a month. Everybody treated our kids great while going through the process.

I would give this place a negative rating if I could

i was in Chicago to drop my daughter off at the airport when my Town and Country started to make a grinding noise. I was 4 hours away from home. I took it to Dupage to have them look at it. They came out telling me that both wheel bearings were blown and the brake pads and rotors were dangerously bad and it would cost me $2000+ to fix it. I was in tears. They then tried to get me to trade it in. It was a 2012 and I had it for 5 months. I had a bad feeling so I started reading review on yelp and was appalled. They told me they wouldn't release it to me because it was unsafe to drive. I had to threaten to call the police to get them to give it back to me. He wouldn't stop. Tried to tell me the wheel was about to fall off and even tried to show me that it was loose. Haha it didn't even move. I drove it 3 miles down the road to Nefty's and it was just one wheel bearing that needed to be replaced. He just shook his head when I told him what was said. $360 and an hour later I was on my way home. All these people wanted to do was take advantage of a women who was stranded in an unfamiliar place. They should be ashamed of theirselves.

They lie even if you have it in writing

I communicated back and forth with Jr. Mercado for nearly three weeks. During this time, I told him that I understood that I was up-side-down on my current vehicle and that I was looking for a great deal if one could be made. I also told him what my pay-off was, that I was pre-approved for a loan, and that I needed to know the out-the-door price to get final approval from my credit union for a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Finally, Mr. Mercado quoted me--in writing--an out-the-door price and asked for pics of my car to help the appraisal process. Based upon his number, I drove 4 hours from Indy ready to make the trade. When I arrived, however, I was told (not by Mr. Mercado because he never came out of his office to even say hello, let alone explain himself) that the out-the-door price did not include the pay-off of my car, and so, there was a significant gap from what I owed to what they were willing to pay for my car as a trade-in value even though he told me that he would give me $5k above blue book for my trade. I have traded cars in Miami, New Jersey, and Chicago. This is the only dealer in the last 20 years of buying cars that has flat-out lied to me (in writing no less) and made me travel four hours for nothing. Why would an "out-the-door price" not include a current car pay off? Why would you misunderstand this fact (even though I told you in numerous emails) and, then, ask me to email pics of my car to help the appraisal process? The reason is that they thought that I would not return the four hours to Indy without making a purchase. They were wrong; I walked and wasted a day. Be very careful with this dealer because even if they give you a price in writing, that does not mean that they will honor it. And, by the way, the "dealer discounts" advertised on their webste are not guaranteed even though I was led to believe, based upon the price quoted, that they would apply. I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealer no matter how good the alleged deal is because they epitomize the cliche of the shady car dealer.

Excellence sales and finance service.

My experience at Dupage Jeep was fantastic. I was greeted the moment I stepped out of my car by Ben who helped me find my dream vehicle - Jeep Renegade. He patiently answered all of my questions, no matter how crazy they were and helped me get a great deal, then Donnie went the extra mile to get me a better finance rate and longer warranty. They made this an enjoyable experience to purchase a vehicle.

"Buying an SUV at Dupage Dodge/Chrysler"

Found a car listed from this dealership on Cars.com, called and have been told that the price is negotiable and there is a big sale today ONLY. After wasting 1 hour looking and testing the car and promising that I will be satisfied with the price they will offer me and after finding out that the car had an accident in the past, they gave me the same one listed on the website with no other options. It was not professional and I am VERY disappointed!

Great Service

Bought a used car that was recently listed online. I came and took it for a drive and decided to buy it with a loan. At first they wanted me to pay all in cash since loans aren't normally given to low priced cars. They helped work through a solution with a loan and I was able to leave with the car that day. I would come again when I'm ready for an upgrade to a newer car.

Great People!

I bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK today and couldn't have been happier with the experience. I had Salesman Ted, greet me at the door, and knew exactly where the model I was looking for was located at. Quick, courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable, are the best words I could use to describe my experience with Ted. The lady in finance (Whos name I cannot recall unfortunately) was extremely kind, and had a vast base of knowledge to work with, and help me with the process. He was able to work to get me the price and payment I wanted on the Jeep, with the extra features that I desired as well. This is why after having dealt with multiple dealers in the Chicago area, the amount of flexibility and dedication to making the customer happy, that I saw at DuPage CJD was outstanding. Anyone looking for a great deal, and a even better customer service experience, make these guys your first stop.

Fantastic service!

My dream car has always been a JEEP Wrangler. Finally I'm at a point where I can buy one and have been in the market for a while. I found the perfect one at Dupage JEEP in Glendale heights, IL. I drove 90 min to get and and I received red carpet service the minute we pulled in. The GM Tony Casper was absolutely amazing!
