Make sure you check your warranty if you happen to buy a vehicle here…. It’s xx We purchased a vehicle less than a year ago (lifted truck with oversized tires) we hadn’t even drove the truck for 23,000 miles and the transmission went out! We paid $3,200 when we purchased the truck for a warranty and they stated it was bumper to bumper full A-Z coverage. When we took the vehicle to get repaired they said warranty was not going to pay for it because the truck was lifted and had oversized tires!!!! That is how we bought it from the dealership who sold us the warranty!!! They said they could repair it for $6-$8000 but it would be a used transmission and no warranty if they did that. We ended up taking our vehicle to Classic Chevy Sugarland for a way better price WITH WARRANTY!! I’m STILL WAITING for our money back on the warranty as according to the warranty people it was voided since day one since they don’t cover lifted trucks. It has been such a hassle. But according to them that’s the risk you take buying a used vehicle. I get that but you sold me a voided warranty. ****I will update so say that Henry has been very attentive and I’m glad he took over the case, he is trying to get me a refund!

Dealer response

We spoke and you know your warranty was denied because of the lift, but that was the extended warranty that covers powertrain, electrical and many other componets. We have a back up wrranty which we gave you for no-charge that would have covered the parts and labor but you chose to your own oil changes versus having them done as instructed. This was your choice and you can't be upset that you chose for your own reasons to do those services yourself. Your choices affected ultimate responsibility. However we did offer to do the repair at cost on parts and charge you no labor to help you resolve your concern becasue you are still the customer. You decided you wanted to take it somewhere else and we even waived the diagnostic fees. We felt it was important to tell the complete story and left out detailed facts to protect your privacy.

Consumer response

We bought the truck lifted we didn’t lift the truck… you never asked me to provide you with any receipts for oil changes you said they MAY ASK FOR THEM I told you that I had to check with my husband because I wasn’t sure if he did them himself or not. You said ok well we may ask for them but I will look into it. I told you I know for sure we took the vehicle to get oil changes at at Take 5 oil change which we even had that in the truck! Again you said I MAY HAVE YO PROVIDE RECEIPTS but never asked for them cause I keep everything!!! Hahah you did waive the diagnostic fee you said it’s the least we can do!! Yes it’s the least you can do for selling me a voided warranty

Consumer response

The issue is you sold me the warranty that was voided from day 1 because of the lift!!! That is my issues!!! Like I stated I understand that I bought I used vehicle and the risk that come along with it MY ISSUE IS YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT YOU ARE SELLING TO PEOPLE!!

Dealer response

This is simply not true. The warranty covers many other items just not the repairs related to the lift. All the paperwork provides limitations which were clearly not read by you as the buyer. We agreed to have the warranty company give you a full refund which can be used towards your repairs. The warranty we provided to you at no cost also has your obligation that clearly were not read or followed. We offered to give your money back on the warranty. You signed an AS-IS two to three places on contracts and ancillary paperwork. At some point you must take responsiblity. We have done everything we can to make any wrongs righted.

Consumer response

Can you show me the warranty that you provided to me free of charge cause I obviously don’t have that paperwork as well as the date it was provided!! I did sign for the vehicle as is but under the assumption that the IMPORTANT EXPENSIVE stuff was covered under warranty such as the transmission. I did say I’m am waiting to get my money back for the warranty never said y’all weren’t giving it to me. Definitely would not have agreed to to pay over $3000 if I had know it didn’t cover transmission. You all stated bumper to bumper A-Z coverage. The paper that we signed to get the extended warranty says nothing about not covering lifted trucks. Also I was told the refund would not go directly to me or I would have used that for the repair I was told that it would go to the bank that financed the truck! Please if you are the person replying to this get all the facts right, and if you are the manager you can reach out to me directly.

Dealer response

Thank you for your comments. The money is going back to you. The law makes us send it to the lienholder but you have the benefit of the lower payoff. That means you are getting your money returned. Henry will send you the documents. The AS-IS that you signed says just that.... all any all all statements must be verified by the customer. It is not our form. It is a federal document to protect the consumer. It advises you that it is your responsiblity to read those documents and verify your coverages. The law also provides that those same warranties are refundable to protect the consumer. We did all the things required morally and legally.

Mr. Bobby P in finance and Mr. Richard W in sales were spectacular. From the moment we were greeted until the last piece of paper was signed we felt welcomed and part of the family. Thanks for your service.

I would to commend Gabriel on the way he helped us with our purchase of a new truck. Give him a 10 star rating. Also a 10 for Patrick, and last but best of all Bobby Parker. He gets a 20. Without his knowledge and professional attitude, we may not have bought the truck. The best dealership I have done business with. Please rework the Military corner so that it more honor's the members who served and remember "all gave some and some gave all". let it say so.

Steven Garcia @Southfork Jeep BEST Service ever! Steven provides EXCELLENT customer service and the BEST follow-up from a dealer experience I’ve had before! He goes above and beyond to fully evaluated and service my Jeep and keeps me updated every step of the way! My Grand Cherokee is 10 years old and recently went through a repair. Steven made the process seamless in working with my warranty company from start to finish. In the past my warranty company has been extremely difficult to work with @another dealer in Houston. Not only did Steven communicated effectively, he’s made the once burdensome hassle my warranty company approval process invisibly painless! He’s provided an Uber to and from and when possible a newer jeep loaner; so I could stay mobile and not miss any work appointments in another service visit. Did I mention, his follow-up? Steven RESPECTS your time and he gets you in and out! Ask for Steven next time and you’ll be happy you did!
