Very professional

Stopped by for buying a basic car Accent or Elantra. Sales man Josh Martinez greeted us and took us for test drive answered all the questions patiently. He is very good in understanding what im looking for and very well articulated in explaining what the different models offer. When I was about to buy Elantra, He mentioned that there are great deals on 2015 Genesis and asked if I would want to test drive it. After I test drove the car, He went back and forth few times to his Manager and got me the best possible deal I could imagine. I just could not turn the deal down and ended up buying Genesis

Best Salesman and Financing Manager EVER!

My salesman was Benjamin and he was the BEST!!!. My finance manager was STEPHEN-he made sure I got the warranty and Gap insurance added to my monthly note for the price I wanted. ALONZO also assisted with my car deal, cutting me the deal I wanted. He was very helpful. He took me on a test drive and went over pricing. I gave him a list of the thing that I had to have in a vehicle and which were deal-breakers. He literally told me to have a seat and wait, came back with a brand new 2016 Hyundai Elantra with all the things I wanted along with the price range I wanted to be in. I wanted a spoiler or my vehicle the the Elantra's don't come with spoilers, they negotiated that in the deal for me! I was worried about getting approved and financed because I have bruised credit, BUT THEY MADE IT HAPPEN AND WITH A GOOD BANK! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle, college students and those with bruised credit. I'M SO EXCITED TO PICK UP MY BRAND NEW ELANTRA!!!

Disappointing experience

This experience was terrible. Prior to going over numbers I let the sales person know I had worked in the industry and knew how it all worked. Knowing this, he still tried every trick in the book when it came to buying a car for my mom. After much back and forth and a visit from the "all knowing" sales manager, we finally decided to leave. It was not worth the headache.

unsure business practices

When I got there, it took me 3 days to get everything finalized. When I thought it wouldn't take long, because I had done most of it on the internet and over the phone, since I lived 2 1/2 hours away. I asked before coming down what I needed to bring with me. and when I got there there was a lot I needed that wasn't told, a Very big lack of communication. My car wasn't there and ready for me.Which I thought should of been since we had been on the phone about it and they knew the time and day I was coming.Also telling me I needed more of a down payment that was not told to me in the beginning. Not but a couple of weeks when I called back to the dealership the finance manager that did my final paperwork, no longer worked there, which scared me. because he said I was to keep this car for a year and bring it bk and the bank that im financed with will in turn let me get a 2016 model with all I want in it. with a better finance rate, and lower payment it was for the to help my credit out. and they didn't want me to have the high apr rate for too long. So is this true or what I don't know...And my name is on e the car too and the dealership can't find my name??? And the finance company sent me one bill. 1. So now I have to call them to send me a bill. Whats up with that..CAN I GET SOME ANSWERS PLEASE!!!

Car buying

Went to the dealership to buy a car that was found online. Test drove it and left a downpayment until our bank financed the car. Went to go finish up the paperwork with them and was told that the previous owner of the vehicle purchased a vehicle from them but their loan did not go through and they needed their car back. I do not know what type of business they are running but I have never heard of this. The dealership should have offered them a vehicle they could afford and let us finish our purchase. It was their loss if their financing failed and I am pretty sure they aready knew. If a business is running their establishment like this, I would never trust them. There was no apology because the salesman explanation seemed a bit shady anyway. So I just got my money and left. I take it as a blessing because better things always came my way after a bad issue.

Poor Customer Service

My daughter traded her car on March 28, 2015. The customer service that we have received since then, has been beyond poor. I have never experienced such poor customer service. As of date, June 5, 2015 my daughters trade has yet to be fully paid off. It took mid May 2015 to even apply the first pay off amount to Ford Credit, and because it was way pass the 10 day payoff, it caused an interest balance. Over 2 weeks ago, the dealer that handled her trade, phoned my daughter and told her that he was getting the balance paid off and that there was no sense in this transaction taking as long as it did. He also informed her that he was sending her a Visa Card in the mail for $150.00 plus that it was a surprise. Well it's 2 weeks later and her trade is still not paid off, and she has yet to receive that Visa Card for her troubles. That mustang should still be on Hyundai's lot without a title. Me and my daughter have phoned this dealership mutliple times, and most times I'm always sent to voicemail. I guess they are tired of us calling. Well it's not going away until this is completely taken care of. My daughter had to call for a temporary tag again, because it took well over 45 days or longer to call for drafting on her new car and then later to even get her plates in the mail. I am very disappointed, and all I want is the trade to be paid off. It is not my fault that you have waited over 2 months to pay that car off. I have done many trades in my life time, and this is the worst experience ever. I even traveled over 5 hours to make this trade and thought I was getting a good deal. Little did I know.

Careless

Nice managers, nice guys, but completely careless in finance. While in finance I was being read over the warranties and contracts and I remember vividly going over the service contract of 3 years because I even ASKED if it would be valid at other dealeraips too since I don't live near them and don't want to have to drive all the way there just for free maintenance and he (the finance guy) said yes. So as I went to a different hyundai dealership close to where I work on my lunch for my first oil change they charged me $40 for the oil change and said that my contract from my Vin showed I didn't have one. Keep in mind that this is a brand new car and my first oil change. So I call up to the dealership to see why my service contract wasnt pulling up and was just given the run around, many voicemail boxes, and no answer. Finally I just paid out of pocket and went back to work. I just think this is careless of them to tell me one thing and do another. I have owned 6 cars and never had this kind of experience. Plus when I financed the car I had to go back 3 times because he put in the wrong info on my finance papers twice. The third time was for the plates. But my point is I shouldve only had to make the hour trip once. Overall a very annoying experience because there are too many dealerships that do a much better job and take pride in their work that I could've dealt with.

best experience ever

Came in to test drive a new car and walked away with 2 new cars for me and my husband. This was one of the least stressful car buying experiences ever. People were great to deal with. No high pressure sales. A team of people who really cares. Thanks for everything Richard Deemer. You are wonderful.

outstanding sales rep

Cheryl James is by far is the be sales rep I have ever worked wth in my 3o plus yesrs of buying cars. The South Loop Hyundai Staff is the most professional and courteous I have seen in a long time. I would recommend this dealership and Cheryl James as the sales rep to anyone. FIRST CLASS SERVICE.
