Applied through cars.com, was approved - these clowns did the stereotypical “bad credit game” The sales guy was a jerk, go elsewhere - just a totally bad experience.

Sarah, I met with Dave Shuppe my family was less than impressed with Dave from the beginning. I had looked at the 2012 Jeep Wrangler on cars.com and had applied to get pre-approved for a loan. I understand the credit con game when I see it, btw had I desired I could have paid cash for the Jeep. I let Dave run a hard credit inquiry only because of the pre-approval and I had spoken with him by phone earlier in the week and explained what I needed from the car deal. So the “deal” I received was embarrassingly bad, Shuppe almost laughed in my face and made all of my family feel degraded. Thanks for the humiliation of a job poorly done. I nice bit of advice to not submit the app would have been nice. I have had this happen twice in my life both times at Chrysler Dealerships. I have financed over 40 automobiles in my life and ALWAYS PAY THEM ON TIME. Sincerely, CBS <><
Nice job
Thomas did a great job dealing with my stress about buying a new Jeep. When I realized I was in finance that the deal I was doing wasn’t the best deal for me and Instead of getting frustrated and sending me packing, he and the sales manager listened to My concerns and we walked around and landed on a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude 😳👍. As Thomas put it “ We removed my testosterone out of the process and I was able to find a veryloaded practical ride” Nice Job 😬

Fair, Honest & Friendly Dealership
Purchased a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica from this dealer. Pleasant sales personnel with no pressure salesmanship. This was my 2nd trip back to this dealer after a test drive and research on the fair market price. The dealership met the price I wanted with some mild negotiating and financing was easy. Spent about 4 hrs in total on my second trip and drove home with a new vehicle. Do your research, find a fair price and negotiate the best deal you can.

Service and recall repairs
Randy the service advisor and everyone else was very helpful and nice. Did not meet the mechanics but all work was completed quickly and correctly. This has been the best experience I have ever had with a dealer service department. Hats off to everyone at Gulf Chrysler Jeep and Ram!!

Wonderful experience
GCJD was great to work with and Katherine was so very helpful and patient with us. She was very attentive to my teenage son and his feelings about each vehicle we test drove. I recommend GCJD and definitely recommend having Katherine help you!

Greg Waite is the BEST!
The customer service provided by Greg Waite was amazing. He knew all of the optional package on each Cherokee on the lot. He was excellent at showing me how to use all of the special devices on my car. Most importantly, Mr. Waite was kind, pleasant, and never once made me feel like he was trying to push the sale. He was completely professional throughout the entire process.

Service department
I received a recall notice on my 2016 Chrysler 300. I called Gulf Chrysler and made an appointment for the following week at 0930, along with an oil change. The person I spoke with asked me if I would want to wait while the service is performed and I said yes. When I arrived for the appointment the "service adviser" told me that if I wanted to wait fr my car, that I would be there until late that afternoon. I then asked why they had scheduled me for a 0930 appointment if that was the case. His answer was a very superior "your appointment was with me, not the technician; I tell you when your car can be worked on. Unacceptable customer service. I have one car and can not drop it off to be worked on at the dealer's convenience. When I schedule an appointment with a business, I expect to have that appointment met within a reasonable time frame. The service adviser was dismissive about my complaint and laughed when I told him that I wouldn't be dealing with them in the future. You've got a lot of work to do on your customer service, starting with the first person a customer in you service department comes in contact with. I edit this review based on an email I received from the service manager, Paul Marchant, at Gulf Chryser. His response to my initial review made it appear that he actually wanted to discuss the incident the review was based on. In fact, he wanted to berate my for my reaction to his ridiculous policy of setting an appointment time and then ambushing customers with a prolonged wait time. He also accused me of using profanity ; I did say "xxxx", so I plead guilty to that. I did not direct profanity or insults to his staff until I did the initial review in which I said that his service rep looked like he just climbed down out of his deer stand. The truth is sometimes harsh.
