Great experience! Would highly recommned

We had an excellent car buying experience at Autonation Subaru Carlsbad! All of the people we interacted with were friendly and provided great customer service, especially our salesman, Jason! We drove further than our closest Subaru dealership because of the service! We appreciate the help and the ease of buying our first Subaru. We would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car!

I had a wonderful, stress free experience purchasing my

I had a wonderful, stress free experience purchasing my 2024 Forester here. I had asked for car bids from 4 San Diego County dealerships of similar cars each had in stock. Autonation came in at the lowest bid by $1500+. During my time with Nolan who sold me the car via online email contact, the sales manager Jaime, the finance manager Miguel, & another manager Dustin, I was not pressured to purchase more options. I was so grateful to have been treated with respect, fairness, and not taken advantage of. Several days later I had some extras installed (back cargo area protectors, bumper protector). I met with Manny who spent 1.5 hrs with me entirely teaching me how to use all of the features of my new car. This helped me immensely. I highly recommend this dealership! Prior to my purchase, I was absolutely dreading the process of buying a new car, negotiating and haggling over price, and being pressured to buy extra warranties, service packages, etc. I was presented with options without strong convincing sales tactics put on me. I am so pleased and thrilled with my new SUV Forester and the whole buying process. I think what helped me most was watching CareEdge u-tube videos on car purchasing. I really did my homework and it was worth the time spent in research on user owner forums, Edmunds, and multiple other car information buying sites. It resulted in me getting a good deal and great experience..

Bring back Bob Baker!

Bring back Bob Baker! My first service under new ownership I got a text with a $7,800 bill asking if I wanted to proceed. Are you kidding me? This is a scam that the large auto dealerships pull to generate new business. Some unsuspecting person would’ve just said they can’t afford it and end up with a new car and nothing for a trade in they turn into more profit. You are just a number now in a corporate machine.

Really enjoyed the "car buying" experience at Autonation Subaru Carlsbad. For me, buying a car is usually challenging to say the least. Everyone treated us like family, even our new pup Stevie, from the get-go! A special shout out to Luis B. He walked us through every step of the way, then some. Everyone that we worked with at Carlsbad Subaru was great. The staff was knowledgeable and everyone worked to ensure that we found the new Subaru that we were looking for. Every detail was carefully explained, all the I's were dotted and the T's were crossed making the entire process relatively enjoyable. Thanks to all the staff for their great teamwork.

No one seems to know what the pricing is for things like

No one seems to know what the pricing is for things like routine service appointments. When I tried to schedule my 40,000 service appointment, no one could tell me the cost. They said someone would call me back, they never did. Someone today told me it might be $1,300. When a piece of the inside of my moon roof fell off about 6 weeks after I bought my 2022 Subaru, they said they would order the part and that never happened. I called to make a service appointment and asked if the moon roof could be fixed while they serviced my car and was told the part was never ordered. Over a year ago, they were supposed to order the part and call me once it came in - I never heard back from them.
